The Cardinals had been so inconsistent throughout the season, that they would play 2 weeks of great baseball, followed by 2 weeks of garbage. Their magic ran out, but it was a great season overall. I'm a Padres Fan, and i hate the Giants. I also hate the Tigers, but I want Verlander to win a World Series, he deserves it.

Prediction: Giants in 7. Zito for MVP yo. This is 2012 for reals.

I am an enormous Cowboys, New Jersey Nets, and Giants fan.

Needless to say, it wasn't until 2010 when I was finally able to witness one of my teams win a championship (I wasn't interested in football when I was a kid in the 90s, so I didn't see the Cowboys). 2002 and the two Nets Finals losses, all within 2 years of each other, was the shittiest time of sports ever for me.

Possibly two World Series in three years would 100% make up for it.
