I don't see how MLB overturns this. They won't want to put the umps in "danger" again back on the field.

I expect some terrible PR written about how the right call was made on the field and Atlanta needs to do deal with it.

No logic. This is the result of Selig shoehorning the changes in this year after the schedule was already determined.
