FUCK he JUST MISSED IT.

I hope Rauch and Duda enjoy having tomorrow off. Duda ain't starting vs. CC, and Rauch can go to Buffalo for all I care.

Frank Francisco injured himself pre-game. Terry doesnt know severity. Looks like Jason Bay will be back this season and Tejada should join team in Chicago. He went 1-4 tonite.

Okay, I just looked over the whole Buffalo Bisons roster in terms of call-ups. Now keep in mind Ruben Tejada will be back by Monday, and possibly Pedro Beato OR Jenrry Mejia in another month.

If you're going to call up a 2nd lefty, the Mets only real options are Josh Edgin, Chuck James or Justin Hampson. Edgin is who everyone remember due to his fantastic spring, but he hadn't pitched above Single-A before this year and is in the middle of a rapid ascension. Chuck James is a soft-tossing retread who could come up in September. I have no idea who Hampson is but his numbers aren't bad. Problem is none of them are on the 40-Man, and realistically unless Rauch really stinks it up we won't see any of them until September.
Doing what? Running his mouth?
Ribcage injury stretching, and let's face it: The NY Post did alot more mouth-running than he did.
LOL MEST.
HAY WEEKEND WARRIOR IS BACK! Nothing like turning the game back on and finding out your team won eh? Betcha you don't hate baseball anymore!

HAY FWANKMAN! I was watching the game but was in the middle of P90x so I couldn't post. Lets play Starhawk so I can shoot you in the face a whole bunch!

COME GET SOME

So after tonight Jim Thome has the most walk off homeruns in history. It sucks that Papelbon finally blow a save but as great as he has been it had to happen some time. I am just glad they were still able to pull out thew win.

Thank god. Looks like I might have a "tolerable" FOX broadcast.

Yeah, it's always such an incredible relief when it's a Fox game without those two on the air ruining things... the game was pretty good, and the announcers were solid, which is more than I can say for anything from Tim McCarver and Joe Buck.

That we won was great too, of course... but the announcing helped as well. Sure, they're not Jerry Remy, but they were solidly good.

Over .500!

46 runs in the last 5 games!

Justin Upton's finally swinging well again!

And of course, Paul Goldschmidt continues to be a beast of a human being.

Things lookin good.

EDIT: Damn, and a +20 run differential. If only that stuff mattered.

Ryan Howard wat

Goldschmidt's better than Freeman and Belt, so he's got a chance to get 1B. At some point in his career, he's going to have a show in the HR Derby.
