Interesting to note that the Braves never really had a game like that to push them over the hump last September. They would always come close, fuck it up, and make things worse.

heh I didn't even realize Leyson Septimo was back on the team... oh well aren't winning this one as he will likely give up at least another run unless he is taken out right now :/

come on johnson launch one... please please please @_@
editL: alright a hit, but up to hudson... come on clear the bases and it's tied.

edit 2: and now the white sox are swept... oh well sucks but we are still tied for first... a 1-6 road trip sucks but we get to go home where we have been playing well.. but against the royals I can really only hope for 1-2... the white sox have to take at least 3 of the next series against the tigers... sept should at least be exciting.

All The Tigers have to do is not lose to the dreaded Indians and they'll be in good shape.

At the same time, he quickly learned that Uggla did not agree with this decision.

Uggla voiced his displeasure to Gonzalez before batting practice on Sunday afternoon. A short time later, he explained his position in a professional manner.

"I hit a two-run homer off [Hamels] in the last game last year to put us up," Uggla said. "It's not a numbers thing for me, especially in September. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. ... Nobody agrees with not playing. It's just because I know what I can do, especially in September when I've been there before in big-game situations, especially last year. It's frustrating, to say the least."

This scrub Uggla can't be serious. He should be embarrassed for playing in the ASG with the numbers he's put up this year, and he wants to complain about not facing Hammels when he's done awful lifetime against him? SMH

Might as well get rid of Felix since ownership is never going to go into the red to put a team around him.

EDIT: Hemtae beat my stealth edit. Zounds.

Oh BTW, for the people who called me nuts when I said Larry Jones sits fastball 90% of the time and can hit one of any speed out of sight... yeah.

after so many years how to people not know this? Papelbon should've never even thrown a fastball to him, much less miss and throw it inside.

I thought Harper catching Buddy Lewis was more interesting, but continue fantasizing about Frazier over Harper.
