If it weren't for that one game against the Cubs in-between, I'd be especially concerned about Lynn. Getting lit up by two of the worst lineups in baseball. Team has been playing horribly since we started our trek against bad teams (and TEX/OAK).

I think your theory about getting 5 innings to qualify for the win has some merit. It was especially evident in the Marlins game since he allowed Lynn to bat with the bases loaded in the 4th or 5th inning in that game even though he was pitching horribly.

Yes it's only June, yes there's plenty of time, but this team is not playing like contenders right now. We've lost almost 40 games and the All-Star game isn't even here yet. Last year we lost a total of 68 games, that's less than double of what we've lost so far.

And again, this team needs to get healthy and the starters/bullpen need to WAKE UP, or we won't make it to the playoffs. We're lucky the teams in our division are all scrubs.
