I don't think DC makes weight. He's too consumed with trying to keep weight to have an advantage against Jones.

DC's looked pretty slim in recent appearances. Seems like he's better prepared to make weight this time.

I'd suggest he move back to Heavyweight after this fight regardless of the outcome though. He looks sick cutting to 205 these days. If he wins he could make Jones move up for the rubber match.

I agree Silva should have finished him easily as Maia's standup is a joke even by MMA standards but Maia literally had no choice but to do those stupid punches from the ground and engage since he was down 3 or 4 rounds already. I don't see Maia ever being champ with his one dimensional style tbh.

Barring some kind of fluke KO, no. Cyborg is probably the fighter who is the furthest ahead of their competition in all of MMA. She is a far superior athlete AND her skills are far more polished AND she's tougher AND she has killer instinct. There's a reason why De Randamie vacated the belt rather than fight Cyborg, and why Nunes won't move up to fight her.

Evinger is game but she's going to get crushed.

DC's daughter, friend and cousin were killed in a car crash.
Jones had a car crash with a pregnant women while under the influence and fled the scene, didn't even bother to check if the other person was ok.
Jones also seems like a guy that just can coast on talent while being a terrible human being, i'm sure that doesn't sit well with a guy like DC who prides himself as a hard worker.

people still seem to like Jones better than him, i mean they booed him. someone said that this was a Homer Simpsons (JJ) vs Frank Grimes (DC) situation and i thought that was a good analogy.
