Nevertheless, from what I understand, even the Japanese seem to be getting tired of this shit somewhat. I'm the type of person that has a pretty substantial tolerance for animu moe nonsense if everything else is done well. This applies especially to comedy series, like how Excel Saga is one of my favorite shows despite featuring a overt pedophile as one of its running gags. Some of the shit going on now just takes it way too far though.
