I think you're correct about it being a calculated distraction, but it's to distract from the Epstein files.

Sitting and former presidents, European and Middle Eastern royalty, current and past prime ministers, multiple global intelligence agencies, many Fortune 500 CEO's; all of these were implicated by the sloppily redacted Epstein files. The unredacted files must contain information that is significantly worse -- more names, more criminality, videos, pics, audio, the whole menu.
