So the Monster Hunter demo and Naruto demo is up on the 3DS. Is Castlevania coming too?
From the Castlevania thread, someone said it is coming out next week.
EDIT: Beaten.

Never played a MH before... there seems to be just two moves (sword and shield) ?
Cheers!
I'm playing the 3DS demo, chose a bow and I'll be damned if I know what the heck I'm doing
Personally, I think the combat is deeper than Souls games. Souls doesn't consider which part of the enemy gets hit.
Does the demo give you Sonic Bombs? You can force him out of the water with those.
For those using the bow, you should charge up twice before shooting rather than spamming.
Hit it until it dies.I'm playing the 3DS demo, chose a bow and I'll be damned if I know what the heck I'm doing
Nope. No Sonic Bombs.
And its starting t get quite frustrating. Fighting in water is a clusterfuck for mel are there any bosses in this game that require you to fit with them in water?

Yeah, I am not good at this.
You'd have to be literally insane to pick the 3DS version up over U. Dual analog and online play, enough said.
Monster Hunter isn't very friendly to newcomers, but I must say that after you get it, the games get pretty addicting. And if you revisit or play new games, they all essentially work the same way.Yeah, I am not good at this.

I just can't discern the gaps in his attacks. If he's not smacking me about up close, he's darting about the room like a loon. If it is his belly I need to attack, the opportunities to smack it up are few, brief and often from about a mile away. I tried the bow. It didn't help. You'll get better![]()

I thought that was strange too, but it's coming to the eShop. When you download MH3 demo, in the description it says "retail only", it has probably been established but is it not coming to the eShop?
The rabbit is very easy and now I can kill it with my eyes closed.
The dragon on the other hand...
Well, I hope I will have better chances with it in full game. Oh, and is a long sword a good weapon for beginner? I like it's range and speed.
Also, when using a long sword, A=light attack, R=medium attack and X=strong attack?

^thanks for the replies, I'm definitely going to use a sword or at least a close range. I just can't aim for shite with this thing
Holy moogle, we're actually getting demos on Wii U?

Uh...does this work with the CPP? I can't tell if my battery is dead or the demo doesn't support it.
