Sweet. I'll be trying both versions tonight.
It says at the start that the CPP is not supported in the demo.
You start with easy monsters such as Great Jaggi and Lagombi, by the time you unlock Plesioth you already know what you are doing. I'm not saying it's going to be easy, but at least you already have experience from past quests. The rabbit is very easy and now I can kill it with my eyes closed.
The dragon on the other hand...
Well, I hope I will have better chances with it in full game. Oh, and is a long sword a good weapon for beginner? I like it's range and speed.
Also, when using a long sword, A=light attack, R=medium attack and X=strong attack?

played a bit of tri a while back, but how 'soloable' is Tri ultimate?
How about 'dualable' cuz I think my bro is getting this too for 3ds.

Thanks. Sounds like a deep game. I'll keep persevering with the demo.
Shame about the 30 try limit again![]()
How long are the missions? I wanna know how long I can look around for.

"Demonize" mode, which increases weapon affinity, allows you to sidestep instead of roll, and unlocks new attacks for your weapon at the cost of constantly draining your stamina bar.I kill him faster and faster, just did it with the dual swords in less than 10 min too. What is the glowing power that you can activate with the dual swords for?
There was only one underwater-exclusive monster... in TriOne of them can be fought only in the water.
Tried the 3DS demo, initially feared water combat based on the camera controls but then I discovered the lock on and all was good but my knowledge of how to use the hunting horn seems to have mostly vanished, still all that matters is that I was walloping monsters with a coffin.
I played much better than on the wii u demo, returned to see how much better I would fare against rabbit boy using a faster weapon, much better in this case.
just one more month!
20 minutes a piece; there's really no time to look around, especially if you're new to the series.
Nope. I've been hitting that bloody Lagombi for ages and it will not die. Also not a fan of the loading between the small sections.
Also. I take it there is no health meter for the monsters.
Aww yeah installing now. How does it look on Wii U? Fairly good?
It's passable. Graphics is obviously not the games strong point.
What weapon are you using? It's really not that hard with either longsword or sword and shield.
Have tried both. LOL.
Don't forget to grab the items from the blue chest at the start of the level. Try using those items. Also, B button is dodge.

I think it looks remarkably good, crisp and clean on my 50" plasma.
Thanks for the tips. Maybe now I know how to dodge I'll have an easier time. >_<

Thanks. Two things I didn't know.
It took me the whole 20 fucking minutes to beat the first monster on easy. It just would not die holy crap.
Downloading the Wii-U demo now. This will be my first Monster Hunter experience. 10 mins to go!
The Plesioth destroyed me, fighting underwater isn't as fun. It's also the one time I missed a second analog.
