I think something else that the developers need to consider is that, while they encourage the whole co-op thing, they shouldn't consider it such an important aspect of the game. The thought that, "your friend(s) can carry you with their monster(s)" is a TERRIBLE design choice.

I have a box full of monsters and use maybe 5 tops. Most of the time I use 3. That's a problem IMO.

I also have my favorites, dont really see the problem game has been out for a month. And i doubt you use the same 3 for every event dungeon or in coop. But to be fair i dont what your box looks and how much maxed units you own.

I think the combination of free co-op orbs + event/extreme drops means that you will have a decent team sooner or later, with a couple of units that are useful even in coop.

Thats the case for pretty much every coop multiplayer game, you will always benefit from strong or skilled friends. As you said can you dont have to rely on it, even though it might take longer solo.

Again the game just launched and seeing the stats of some of the 60 stamina dungeon drops, he is probably right that you can get some very capable monsters from drops. You just listed a bunch of gacha top tiers, but even they can and will be rendered useless in specific dungeons.

You need only 3 monsters for a Monster Strike team, you have to be very unlucky if this still is an issue for you after the free coop orbs and playing the extreme events. Unless you are only happy with Top Tiers.

Reason Margarite(Tequila) is so good is she really helps in getting Izanami. Izanami allows you to get Kushinada. Kushinada is the best monster in the game. Izanami and Kushinada are considered two of the very best units in the game.

Wait for the Meiji Revolution batch. Ooryu and Sakamoto Ryoma are both very good, and I think they're the next one.

Yeah I think I'm going to keep my newly acquired orbs, I'm just going to evolve my Zeus and Margarite for now. Hopefully we get some cool guest character monsters that I can use my orbs on.

Both are Hameln and Lorelei are 8.0. That's pretty solid and Hameln breaks Gravity Barriers which is nice. Lorelei is also getting an Ascension and works with the Fruit system that'll be down the line so she seems good. Plus her main ability is Piercing Missiles, lol. That's a sick bump skill.

I may wait still though because I hardly have any powerful monsters in wood or fire.

I had no idea that the codes weren't unique. I had just purchased a set of 50-orbs from Ebay yesterday [for $14.99] and, coincidentally enough, was the exact same code as posted above. If I had known, well...that would have been $14.99 [around $17 CDN] saved. :/

Oh well, live and learn and all that.

Nanami has her uses.

Not sure about Hamelin but he is a 5* so he must be good at something apparently he plays well with Kushiniga when they are on the same team, but that is probably not going to happen anytime soon.

Yeah I'd quit too. You can't just ban us for using a code that is available regardless of user status. If you were smart you'd restrict it to people who downloaded it in the same day or week.

We know what they're like; we had one for two weeks at the start of service. Since you get all gold eggs for a 10shot anyways people don't have too much reason to hesitate.

I mean that what you got for the launch event is what Japan gets for all their events, althought lasting for a day or two as opposed to an extended period of time.

Not to mention that the ratings are related to the current jpn state of the game. Doesn't mean that the unit has to be weak for what the NA version is offering now. Just something that people should consider.

Wish the game has some kind of shortcut when selecting units for coop play, since right now it's limited to only leaders of your 5 teams. Editing the teams is done fast, but I wish you would have something in line like the character selection screen of a fighting game with maybe 10 preselected units.

Yes, some are. Some event monsters are used for the ascension system (if you aren't familiar with that) and some (mostly the extreme monsters) have use in battle under the right circumstances.

As for 4* monsters from the hatcher, consult the ratings and information here. Lotta and Jupiter are among those worth keeping.

Lotta is very very good though. I'd have her over like half the 6* monsters. Sad my main doesn't have one.

Don't know how far along you are, but there will be more difficult events in the future. You should join the GAF line group for coop play.
