According to the king of remote viewing, Major Ed Dames last night. Prediction of 'killshots' to the earth from solar flares, and much of the world population will be wiped out. The precipitating event will happen in November when a space shuttle is forced down from a meteor shower, also knocking out several satelittes. All I know is if this happens you better find a place with lots of water and some underground cover.

Man, that bunker I bought for the Y2K thing sure will come in handy now. Everyone told me I was wasting my money, but now it looks like it's going to live up to its potential.

I mean, world-shattering disasters don't happen everyday, right?!

Bah. Ed Dames is a joke. With all the skepticism Art's been throwing out lately, I'm surprised he didn't call him out on that one (or did he, I think I missed that part of the show...). Seriously, though, Art Bell is totally raging against the machine lately. Its like all of those years being stereotyped as "the UFO guy" and not being taken seriously are getting to him. I kind of like it, though. He's still very open-minded, but he's willing to stick it to the straight-up bullshitters. I liked that show a couple weeks back where they were talking about the potential coming oil crisis and how people would react. Some people called (as usual during this kind of topic) describing how they or someone they knew had a plan to create alternate fuel, but he was completely shutting them down when they couldn't provide any proof.

Even George Noory has been a little more skeptical these days.

It coincides with the launch of the Xbox 2...interesting. Maybe it's the Revolution Nintendo's been talking about!

Seriously though...this explains why the GameCube will only get 13 games this whole year. Nintendo's like "The World's gonna end soon, why bother? We made our money, let's just party until we die.".

But without a free podium to spew unsubstantiated bullshit, how will Art Bell get guests?

Oh, and he's still responsible for that hillariously stupid book "The Coming Global Superstorm", so it's not like any reputation he has is undeserved. :p

The world was supposed to end so many times I can't even keep track anymore. Has anyone ever taken one of those "end of the world" predictors and slapped them upside the head after their drop-dead date passed?

The thing is... remote viewing is real, I have done it but Danes is a joke. The more I hear him the more I think that he is part of some psi-op to make the skill out to be loons.

Art Bell's always been like that. It's hilarious listening to callers get owned by Art Bell and they DON'T EVEN REALIZE IT. Art has this way of giving callers a lot of rope and letting them hang themselves with it. Noory, on the other hand, would believe about anything you told him if you could tie it to an interesting anecdote.

2012, end of aztec calendar right?

I believe you're thinking of the Mayan calendar. And that's all new age science bullshit. The meaning of anything Mayan is unclear at best. They have multiple calendars that overlap and 2012 is one of those points. I've never read anything on there being an "end" to a mayan calendar... could be wrong though. Most everything I've read about Mayans is very boring since so little is actually known about them, nothing like what is known about aztecs. If you ever read something really interesting about Mayans, it's likely to be half romanticized crap.

I have taken about six weeks worth of classes in RV, from another ex-ops guy. Basicly you are able to focus on specific targets while in a quasi-meditative state and view them as if they are coming through your eyes. I am not very good at it, but am going to continue to study it for the near future.

I read that the Egyptian ended on the exact same date....as the Mayans calendar

pretty sure it's not much more than a lunar/solar cycle overlap... but I really don't know much about the subject.
