Well shit.

Two Weeks was an interesting song choice for that scene.

Edit: ↓ Yeah, that GIF about sums it up for me too.

Edit: Great episode.

Wow. This show just keeps delivering. I loved the opening scene with Shayla. I will really miss her. The scene at the end and the one with Wellick on the roof were crazy. I love how the music just stopped as he stood up. This show is so full of little touches like that that really work. Man I love this show.

That was quite an end to that episode, Krista's actress really sold it. And Tyrell? Where the hell are they going to go with that? Her husband get implicated or resign? I'm half expecting Tyrell to turn out to be White Rose. And I know we saw a couple scenes of just Mr.Robot and no Elliot but I find it a little interesting that he apparently does the same thing Elliot does with gathering info everyone he becomes acquainted with, maybe it's not a unique thing exactly but it just added more fuel to the #ElliotisMrRobot fire for me. And what are they going to do with the dog eating the chip?

This episode was bonkers. I loved it.

Shayla liking The Cure makes me even more sad about her death. Elliot's therapist liking anal porn? Damn lady, you surf the internet like I do.

Outstanding episode as usual. The use of music during the rooftop scene was brilliantly done. Loved the opening flashback, too. Goddamn I'm gonna miss Shayla a lot.

Looks like I'm back on team real with regard to Mr. Robot. He was interacting with real people other than Eliot this week.

Or maybe they are the ones who are not really there.....

Fuck, I can't wait until we find out what's actually going on with that side of the story.

lots of emotions on this great episode.
that was sad to see Shyla and Elliot meeting. Especially with that Cure song.
I thought the side characters will be boring like some show ahemTyrantahem. But seeing everybody with their mini-stories kept this episode moving.
Tyrell being a looser finally snapped. Good to see how far the guy will go.

That final scene almost got teary.

Gotta be honest I was expecting Tyrell to be more of a machiavellian villain but if his wife is pulling the strings I'm ok with that.

That scene at the roof was just beyond Cray. And I liked wellick actually feeling bad for that moment. Meaning either he didn't plan this or his wife is the master. Which I like. Also at the end was Fucking emotional.

Damn Rami malek :(

I went holy shit when Colby told Angela to suck his big, hairy balls. Man, Tyrell is a fucking weakling; total chump. Goddamn at Elliot laying it out all to his therapist.

I don't think the moment on the roof was planned at all. His reaction afterwards was more out of shock than anything else. I think he just fucked up. He's gonna have to go to his wife for help cuz this dude is nuts

I think he just got caught up in the moment and the domination role he was playing and took it too far.

Yeah I can definitely see that.

Dude is fucked up hard lol but I can't wait to see the most chillest wife ever react to what he did.

Also the therapist got like a super dose of the truth haha. That's gonna be hard to process.

at first I thought it was planned, and he was gonna throw her off the roof to mimic suicide or something. But his immediate reaction and piss poor handling in trying to remove evidence suggests it was just a random outburst of crazy. She was talking shit to him the whole time before

I wonder if the dog will have a bigger role in the story now based on what it did this ep

Yeah, he definitely didn't mean to kill her. I knew things went sour when she was like wtf man get the fuck off me and stop chocking me. Then she was dead.

He must likely thought she was roleplaying with him like he was with her.

His wife is definitely the mastermind though.

Given the advice before going to talk to her ("Steady") and then having what looked like a wet wipe, I think it might've been planned.

Give Malek all the awards, his closing scenes these last two weeks have been phenomenal.

Overall this episode was a bit more fragmented than last week's dread-a-thon, but it still did a lot for all featured characters, even those that have been mostly out of the spotlight until now.

Sidenote: That Shayla scene tho. Hit like a truck.

I feel like nowhere near enough people are watching this show. It's a damn shame because it's a hell of a ride.

Rami Malek deserves an award, goddamn

I still think Mr. Robot is just Elliot. I don't really buy into the thought that just because he's in a scene with another character that that makes him real. We the viewer see Mr. Robot during his scenes with Romero and Darlene, but it's actually Elliot.

From the viewer's perspective we see Mr. Robot as a different person, a physical embodiment of his other personality, but from the people in the world's perspective they simply see Elliot.

Mr Robot interacting with other people isn't evidence until we see him and Elliot interacting with others at the same time.

Exactly. Mindblowing that all the #teamreal people on Twitter have such trouble with that.

Guess not everybody has seen Fight Club afterall.

I'm leaning towards real now but expecting a flashback in the finale of elliot really being in those scenes. It's like they realized we would obviously know he's fake then changed it to make him finally seem real

I thought that was the best episode since the pilot. Lots of great performances and plot advancement! This show has such swagger for something in its first year.

Is there a team "Elliot is the head persona?" I don't necessarily believe that but I feel like the show is too smart to do the straight Fight Club thing OR the Mr. Robot is real thing. It has to subvert those expectations in some way.

I'm confused by how this show is airing on USA after seeing episode 3. I mean, that was nearly HBO levels if R-ratedness. Is it being uncensored in Hulu and more censored on TV?

I will say, the scrotum talk by Colby caught me off-guard as fuck. And left me with the desire to take a shower. Plus how they censor just enough of the "fu**" is great.

Another great episode.

Rami ends the episode with another phenomenal performance. Dude is killing it on this show.

Very interested to see where it's all going. Didn't see the rooftop scene coming at all so I wonder what Tyrell's endgame is.

Oh and I'm in the "flashbacks will show all Mr. Robot interactions with others as Elliott" boat.

I think this show is way too edgy and kind of late 90s/early 2000s teen-angst-anarchist but it's also well acted and well shot and generally intriguing, so I can't help but watch. I don't think it would do well with general audiences though?

It's cable. USA can air whatever it wants; advertisers keep them in check. Find advertisers OK with the content? Air the content. They have a reputation as being a light, fun network that they're slowly working to change.

That was AMAZING, Bruce Altman's delivery was perfect. I couldn't believe it.

True. What I love about the show is it is very unpredictable. We won't know until he talks to his wife

Mr Robot interacting with other people isn't evidence until we see him and Elliot interacting with others at the same time.

So Elliot is imagining a character of himself. He build Mr. Robot character, wants to be like him. In all the previous episodes when Elliot is talking with Mr.Robot is actually questioning his own mind, judgement and consciousness. Mr Robot is the consciousness since Elliot was never agree with most of Mr.Robot decisions. Would I do that or not, however in the end he goes with couple of Mr.Robot thoughts, I mean ideas.

They really drove this home when he was pretty much a voice in his head at Steel Mountain.

I'd be pretty surprised at this point if Mr. Robot was real.

What I'm more interested in is the fact of Elliot's other invention that we know of, him personifying someone in his head to talk to about the events he experiences... it ostensibly seems like he's talking to the audience watching, but is it another personality too? One that he is actually aware of?

Another great episode

I can't even put into words how much I'm enjoying this show. Malek's performance is on a different level, and am always looking forward to those moments when he digs deep.

I still think something is up with the Muslim chick. She only talks to Darlene, and seems like her conscious as well
