I mean like every sequel would tackle different culture and characters. Bit like AC but without overarching storyline. Vikings, Mayas, medieval England etc.

I'd be so hyped for a new Age of Empires game - I'd totally get a new PC for that game. Other than that I'd love to see a new Ryse, even if I don't own an One or a PC powerful enough to play the game.
