Wasn't this board 'invaded' by Sega DC nuts and Xbots before. Wasn't it hacked by a looney Nintendo fan? I'll say the Sony fans are the more civil of the board. That might not be saying much, GAF can be brutal, but it's nice to know.

This will be the first generation where I'm getting more than one console on its launch. I would say its the first console I got at launch but that award goes to Dreamcast.

I'm buying PS3 and X360 on day one. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. I'm rubbing my hands together in glee for the new shit they have offered. Revolution? Nintendo has to impress the hell out of me. However with the hotness of the future of Sony and Microsoft plus the increasingly amazing PSP, I may not need Nintendo in any way, shape, or form.

I remember the good old days of the DC war when one of the gaming sites put up a video where the actual PS2 and DC machines argued through some kind of puppetry and then had a street fighter style brawl. The DC won, of course. It was so hilarious. I can't remember which site put it out. Daily Radar? Does anyone else remember this?

On another note, I kinda hope MS does well against Sony this generation simply because I think having one company rule 80-90% of the industry is a bad thing. A nice split would be good. I like having choices.

Hey, i even defended the fact that the communication set up was shitty on Monster Hunter as a good feature (as it meant coordination had to take place before the game). It doesn't get much more Sony Defence than that!
