I suspect that Faust's original intention was for the "gods", meaning Celestia and Luna, to eventually move on and leave the world in the hands hooves of mortals, meaning "normal" ponies, with Twilight as their leader. It's a somewhat common trope in the fantasy genre, and would have been far more epic that Twilight just turning into a god herself.

They always put Twilight in these horrible pale yellow dresses that don't compliment her mane & coat at all.
You'd think Rarity would have a sharper eye for these things.

Well, she lied that one time about Twilight's birthday dress, and now she just has to keep going with it or the whole house of cards will come crashing down.

And now if Twilight ever finds out, the moon is a real possibility. So it's going to be yellow dresses forever.

Note that Twilight's Gala dress was blue.

You might just be able to order it from Amazon.de. Once you have an account with one Amazon, you've automatically got an account with all of them. If you just ignore the moonspeak and click away at the buttons the way you would normally order from Amazon, it works! You just have to pay international shipping. Some items are sometimes banned from foreign sale though.

The new official Twilight toy actually looks really good. And it looks like those wings can be sawed off quite easily.

OK these looks AMAZING and i have a theory.

i have a feeling we are getting FIM S4 cuz Hasbro decided to expand the Brony market.

look at what we are getting, accurate and amazing plushies, a bunch of Derpy stuff, an amazing Twilicorn figure, oh and fucking blu rays.

Brony money saved FIM, im calling it.

Nah, they are getting season 4 because the show is a huge success. Killing it now would be pretty stupid. (Of course, Bronies are one of the reasons for such success.)

On other hand, that we are finally seeing decent official toys, speaks a lot about the disconnection and super slow reaction of the corporate beast that is Hasbro.

It would be a shame if the fandom started dropping off just as they finally got good toys out.

I agree but at the same time, they'll only have themselves to blame if the fandom "dies".

A shame, really, if they had respected more the fandom, messed less with the show and even offered official support to some of its projects, I think they have had a goldmine for years to come.

We're having a discussion in the other thread about if Alicorn Twilight may not have been a Hasbro mandate. There's certainly some evidence to hint at it, and unlike Cadance, it hasn't been stated outright that it was a Hasbro mandate.

And this doesn't look so bad to me. Griffon the Brush-Off is at the bottom, as it should be, and the top ten are all episodes I'd be happy to watch again anytime. I'm a little surprised to see Magical Mystery Cure bubble all the way to the top, but I am a sucker for a good musical episode. And I kind of like the Twilicorn, so it's probably not that big a surprise. Lots of Fluttershy and Rarity with Sweetie Belle up there, too, and of course Luna. All Luna's appearances except Friendship is Magic. Not terribly surprised to see a lot of Fluttershy and Rarity up there, either, they're fun to watch when used right.

And yes, I'd love to see more like Sleepless in Ponyville, which was just ponies hanging out and playing off each other. Plus, you know, all the inherent jokes you get from the idea "Rarity goes camping". And yes, the Rarity/Sweetie Belle dynamic is just adorable, and Scootaloo still managed to outdo them in that one.
