Kinda funny you've got English Ranma/Inuyasha voicing Snails and Japanese Ranma/Inuyasha doing Snips. I'm still eager to see who they'll get for Discord. Who did they end up getting for Trixie?
My Little Pony: FiM Season 3 Episode 6: Sleepless in Ponyville
Wow. That was good.
The small touches were great - like seeing Owliscious again - and the sequence where Scootaloo is asleep while riding her scooter seems reminiscent of Looney Tunes antics (like the log spinning part.) They could've went for the easy way out and had Applejack be the moral voice, but surprise---it's Princess Luna! It's been a long time since the pilot episode but traveling into someone's dreams is an extreme power, but for the purposes of this episode it was used well. I think the use of Princess Luna is just right: not as often as Princess Celestia. She could get boring if used as frequently as Celestia
Celestia is already boring
, but the other good thing about Luna is that she wears all sorts of hats: she was the voice of dissent in the season opener, she needed guidance in the Halloween episode from Season 2, and in this she's providing advice.
Scootaloo's been long overdue for some focus. She gets outshined too easily by the other Cutie Mark Crusaders when they're together. An episode like this has been a long time coming because she's idolized Rainbow Dash for a while now, and so the moral of the episode is great too, because it deals with how they relate to each other. It establishes that there are some differences between Scootaloo and Rainbow Dash (at least, as they are now) and that that's okay. They don't have to be the same pony to get along; look at the other relationships in the cast. And it doesn't serve Scootaloo's attempts at connecting with Rainbow Dash to deny how susceptible she is to ghost stories if she gets so freaked out by them. It's a very relatable thing, to want something so bad that you'll lie or give up yourself to get it, but you do so at your own peril sometimes.
Other ponies were great. Rarity only knows how to be goddess and she was a goddess in this episode, except having Sweetie Belle carry her apocalypse-preparation materials/life story luggage is seriously messed up. She was genuinely nurturing to Sweetie Belle when she was scared, and she seemed game for things overall, even if she has to be Rarity in order to be game. I like how she and Applejack were impervious to ghost stories outside of Rainbow Dash knowing how to pull off jump scares, it's consistent with Look Before You Sleep and the "it's a ghost story, they're all made up" conversation. It's a good thing those two can pull off a sleepover together now. Applejack was standard Applejack otherwise: dependable and such. Apple Bloom was fine just with her over the top accent, and Sweetie Belle again is fucking amazing with 99 Buckets of Oats on the Wall. She is so crazy, and the relationship between her and her sister is kinda weird, but it's awesome. Lastly, Rainbow Dash. It's hard to understand why, but this episode made me like Rainbow Dash a little more. It was just the scene when she hashes things out with Scootaloo at the end, that conversation was totally believable and touching. Don't know if it'll shake up my rankings, but I liked that moment.
On a side note, Rarity and Applejack don't come across as the best of friends, but juxtaposing the two is just so...perfect, the way that they oppose each other. It's not how like Twilight and Pinkie in my mind make good friends (complimentary differences, perhaps), and I don't mean oppose in a belligerent way, but just in how different they are. Every season needs an episode where interacting between Rarity and Applejack is at least some sort of peripheral focus.

It still trips me up that Kyubey from Madoka is Fluttershy. I still have yet to see an episode, but the thought of hearing Japanese dub has me excited, so I'm bound to check it out.

It's pretty interesting, because you can really get an idea of my progression as an illustrator, regarding skill and art style, over the last two years.
There are some other ponyGAFfer artists who also did some OC work for PonyGAF, and A-Dawg has gathered those pieces here (some links are regrettably broken by now).

I'm all for Claire singing Sweetie Belle's tunes in place of Michelle IF... and this is a big IF... she can infuse a patented squeak or two into the vocals.
I kind of hope they do Midnight showings of Equestria Girls, could be the best theater experience since being in a theater opening night for the Dragon Ball movie and everyone doing a MST3K job on it with no complaints.

That describes my Midnight showing experience of Snakes on a Plane to a tee: everyone riffing on the movie, yelling out random slurs, and loving every minute of it.
I'd love for another expected-terrible movie to come around so the experience might be repeated (and not with established-terrible movies like The Room or Trolls 2... they've been played to death).
I really like this one. Just the way that it hangs over the treetops/rooftops, really gives the sense of flight, while at the same time it seems very "grounded" and seems like the sort of low-altitude dream-like flight one would expect from Fluttershy.

With these informations, I should be able to produce an equine that upholds your OC expectations.
