Yeah, I was trying out a new formula with this one, inspired on Antiander's formula (such as here: http://www.bronibooru.com/posts/71360 ). I still have much to refine, though.
It took me about 90 minutes, from scratch - I'm also training myself for speed. I always try to go for unconventional poses, to increase my range and anatomy knowledge. GAF echo chamber. Some humor website picks at low fruit, and every gag confirms their worse suspicions. So they go on for 6 pages or so, laughing and patting each other on the back and pointing at 'those people' they feel they are better than.

I continue to be amazed and confused by how people are constantly surprised at the concept of a fandom having highly vocal fringe lunatic fans, and that these fans will help color perception for an outsider. This happens in politics as well.
One can't deny, however, that due to the unique nature of the show's rise to Internet fame, it's peripheral demographic and the vastness of the fandom, there is a lot of room for fringe lunatics. It's a kids show, that adults like. This will attract people who are mal-adjusted. They aren't going to be the only fans by any stretch of the imagination, but they will be the ones detractors notice first. It's a psychological thesis in the making.
Edit: And thanks to Myke posting right after I started a reply, you can see how long it actually takes to write this BS, lol.
