I think it's a tossup between 1 and 3 being the best. Even as dated as it may seem compared to DS3, there's something special about the art direction, tone, and atmosphere they managed to achieve in DS1 that it's still able to hold its own.

The gameplay is still great to this day too. I did some DS1 co op a few days ago and was able to get some surprisingly frequent 2AM PvP matches with randoms.

I'm convinced that From simply ran out of budget with DS1. The first half is as good as gaming gets. The second half drags. Too much empty space.

DS3 is my personal favourite, mainly because of the Abyss Watchers. Categorically the coolest boss ever designed.

Arkham Knight

After some thinking, I think it's better than Arkham Asylum and definite go to version for Batman. Loved the Batmobile combat.

Arkham Knight is a great game, hell, the entire quadrilogy is. Not my favorite of the bunch, but Knight held for a long time the initial version's negative feedback's cross. In practice, felt like a true evolution from the previous installments.
