Excluding cross continental trsvel, we are pretty much all cousins if you go back 5-10 generations. Go back a bit more to become cousins with anyone on earth.

Then how does he pay for the food he eats during missions? If the man barely comes home to retrieve a bento box from his family then what is he subsisting off of? Is he eating like Solid Snake from Metal Gear Solid 3?

I finally worked out a theory for this. Sakura is under an elaborate series of Izanami genjutsu's that don't dispel until she realizes the truth about each one. She won't be able to go back to her normal life until she comes to the conclusion that Sasuke doesn't love her and that they're not really married, each two separate Izanami genjutsu's. Sarada is still theirs, but they didn't conceive her on some journey, more like it was a drunken accident behind Ichiraku Ramen, and Karin delivered her cause they were trying to just do it in secret.

Knowing Itachi he probably set up a rather nice trust fund for Sasuke right before he killed off his entire fucking family. In fact who was even feeding Sasuke while he was a kid in part one? Hiruzin? I don't think that one ever got sorted out. Sasuke probably just put the debt collector under a Genjutsu where he thinks he actually got paid the missing money.
We both know his game would play like Metal Gear Rising. Probably the same damn soundtrack almost. "It's time to leave my family BEHIIIIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNDDDDDDD"

It makes me wonder how the Senju were even able to rival them.
The final thing we see in Boruto is Sasuke standing with Sakura and looking over Sarada, Boruto and Mitsuki.
Its terrible. Did he really leave? Could've sworn he was with Sakura standing on the roof or something.
I really don't think the average joe Uchiha was up there with the likes of Madara or whatever . I mean its supposed to be a rarity to even awaken the Mangeyko. Madaras brother had one and still got defeated by Tobirama.

Isn't there only like one or two great Uchiha's in every generation though? Probably the Senju just won on a quality to numbers ratio.
They're mostly above average to good I would think.
And we know next to nothing really about the Senju so there's that.

Not really. Itachi was an unprecedented prodigy even by Uchiha standards. Would be interesting to see how Sasuke compared to the Uchiha in his generation....but they died. Even 3 tomoe Sharingan is notably strong so I would of liked more on the Senju clan.

Doesn't Sasuke have the same Sharingan pattern as Madara though, I remember Madara bringing that up. I'm going to assume he'd be top class as long as he was able to reach his full potential with his driving force for getting stronger not even existing.

Sasuke's dad is the most underdeveloped character in the series. He was part of Minato's generation, the head of the clan (and likely direct descendant of Madara) and supposedly a very capable ninja. Plus he looked really cool

Yeah. Thats why I appreciate the current and last anime arcs. It puts into better perspective. I remember being shocked that sasukes dad was the head of their clan.

Yeah I think people honestly underrate Sasuke at times. Orochimaru used to always coveted Sasukes eyes as better than Itachis and even Madara praised him a few times. He's the second strongest at worst.

Madara was referring to Sasuke's MS design which was like Madara's brother iirc. Possibly, hard to say. Uchiha standards are much higher than general standards.
Sasuke's mission in Gaiden was somewhat detailed. A scroll is found in Boruto that points to Momo and Kin being that threat from what I remember who are consequently defeated. Sasuke's final scene show him standing next to Sakura not leaving. Of course Sasuke will still go on missions like any normal ninja, he may even do dimension travelling (although worryingly that could mean more of the alien plot which frankly needs to die) but the mission that led to his absence of 5+years is over.

As high as those standards are they still had Obito before he got the Sharingan, whom is a lot less than Sasuke pre Sharingan.

You should definitely watch Boruto.
Maybe Obito was a late bloomer. I can understand a bit of Konoha's wariness with the Uchiha when it was said that they were practically an army. If the Uchiha did join Madara, alongside Obito and Itachi, I doubt Konoha would be able to handle them.

Obito didn't git gud till Madara pushed him over the edge. He had the potential but didn't seem to know how to tap into it. Hashirama wanted to make Madara Hokage and a bunch of paranoid ass people didn't trust him. Whole thing could've been sidestepped by having faith in Hashirama and his choice to help him run Konoha. I consider that whole effort a 50/50 partnership in fucking things up.
