Naruto Manga Thread (OT) - The End is here

Don't get upset everyone can get behind the concept of broly.
He's quite the overrated character indeed.

Wrath of the Dragon was actually pretty fun considering everyone got at least one scene in it, and Goku only really showed up at the end.

The Broly movie is a guilty pleasure of mine, I'm not going to say it's smart at all, but most of the fights are pretty fun, even if the first half of the movie is just build up and the second half is just a giant fight scene.

Wrath of the Dragon once again followed the Majin Buu template with a somewhat similar origin and an evil wizard coming to earth in order usher hiss revival. Quite fun seeing SS3 Goku being the only one strong enough to defeat the monster when Ulimate Gohan is supposed to be more powerful than everyone else at that point.

It was fun seeing Goku shattering like glass, everyone getting one shotted all over the place and Broly being defeated with a damn gut punch that caused him to rupture and explode after the ass kicking he dished out. Sigh.

bullshit, war arc had some great fights and moments.

This dude pretty much sums the arc up perfectly.

I. In Which We Are Hyped As Fuck
II. In Which Sasori and Deidara are Pointlessly Trolled
III. In Which the Seven Swordsmen Look Pretty
IV. In Which We Are Introduced to Forgettable Side Characters
V. In Which Side Characters With Little Depth Fight
VI. In Which Choji Gets Pointless Attention
VII. In Which Tobi Wrecks Some Shit
VIII. In Which We Lack Pathos
IX. In Which Naruto Goes All Kung Fu Jesus on Us
X. In Which Past Kages Kick It Old School
XI. In Which We Feel No Tension
XII. In Which The Only Threatening Enemies Are Fucking Uchiha
XIII. In Which the Rookies Make Vows and I Don’t Give a Fuck
XIV. In Which I’d Rather Rewatch Return of the Jedi
XV. In Which We Realize War is Awesome

To be fair, they did give a bullshit reason why Goku was able to beat the dragon. Something about strong emotions and Trunks cutting off his tail.

And the Broly movie while flawed, they did actually give proper backstory and set up, which most Dragon Ball Z movies flat out skip. Plus outside of Buu down the line, Broly really was the only villian that felt like that.

Not saying any of the DBZ movies are super good, I just enjoyed those three more than Battle of the Gods, which had a lot of flaws in itself as well. It was still a fun movie though.

Best part of Wrath of the Dragon is seeing Vegeta bitch smacked then done for rest of the movie

In Broly movies Vegeta was just a pussy.

Will someone make a Bleach OT? I think it should get one, and hell, there might be hidden fans we haven't seen.
I wouldn't be surprised if Bleach had its fans. Look at the first few pages of this OT and the One Piece OT and you'll see nothing but hate for Naruto and love for OP, but this thread eclipsed the OP thread pretty fast afterwards.

I'll make one if nobody else wants to do it. Despite not liking the series since Soul Society I've actually kept up with it.

I know it's been a running joke, but is Bleach is remotely close to a final arc or a climax of any sorts? I haven't kept up since the Soul Society arc.

It's currently on the final arc but with how terrible the pacing is in Bleach it could take years.

I know the ultimate storm games get a lot of flak but goddamn do cyberconnect2 know their shit about the small details that matter. If you play as Danzo and he awakens, he constantly checks his arm for izanagi and damn if they didn't throw in madara's hashirama face in his move set.

Not only that, but they've got incredible cinematic flair.

Not to mention the absolutely brilliant OST they put out for their games.

1) He Who Howls and Rages.

2) Sakura's Good Fight.

Two of the best video games soundtracks I've ever heard.

Going back to the first few pages of this thread and seeing what people were predicting is interesting lmao.
Yeah, I just found this:

The only kage they haven't shown yet is the 3rd Mizukage, Although the popular theory is that he is
either Orochimaru or one his ancestors.
We just saw him in the anime. He looks like this:

440px-Mizukage3rd.png

HMMMMM

Edit: On second thought, there's no way that's possible. Cool idea, though. Third Mizukage is probably my favorite kage design out of any of them.

ah, I'm still upset the Obito/Bloody Mist plotline never went anywhere, wtf was the point of that?

As petty as this sounds, it could have been revenge for what the Mist did to Rin. Also, the Water Country was probably a great place for Obito to hide in, since it was relatively isolated compared to the other countries.

Chojuro has a such a good design, he's my favorite mizukage design. He just narrowly beats Mei.

Would have been nice to see Suigetsu as the leader or something of a new generation of 7 swordsmen.

Yeah but then why not just say it? The guy had control of an entire ninja village and he just.......gave it up? He got bored? Decided they had enough? There's a lot of stuff you could do with the implication/fact that Obito had control of a great nation.

That's some lazy revenge anyway since the bloody mist was going on before he even got there.

So if the anime gets redone years from now what animation studio would you like to see give it a go?

I like Pierrot when they help in the fights with those key animators. Its the reason Naruto has the best fights out of any other long running shounen but the in between episodes are a bit lower quality. Ideally I would want Bones + those key animators.

I don;t think we will get a redo simply beciase Naruto is still so popular and the series is still going on ;)

Also from the final fight I think its clear that it was a draw. Sasuke and Naruto are equals.

This week's 50th issue of Shueisha's Shonen Jump magazine is set to be a legendary issue, as it houses the final two chapters of Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto manga. Along with Eiichiro Oda's hidden message in the title page of his One Piece manga, all of the manga creators featured in the issue wrote messages in the author's comments section:

Yusei Matsui (Ansatsu Kyōshitsu) - It's an honor to be present to witness the last set of such large footprints. Kishimoto-sensei, really, you've done a great job!
Yūdai Kimura (GARDEN one-shot) - It's an honor to have my work be published in such a celebrated issue. I'm waiting for comments on my work.
Eiichiro Oda (One Piece) - Sometimes a friend, sometimes a rival. I'm so grateful to the strength in my heart I was given for serializing together for 15 years!! Kishimoto-san, good job after working so long!!"
Kōhei Horikoshi (Boku no Hero Academia) - Naruto is my youth itself. Thank you so much for creating the best shonen manga!
Yūto Tsukuda, Shun Saeki (Food Wars: Shokugeki no Soma) - The manga I encountered in my middle school days is finally...! Kishimoto-sensei, good job after working so long! (Saeki: Completely agreed!)
Kawada (Hinomaru Zumō) - I read [Naruto] since I was a student. It was my item of admiration. Kishimoto-sensei, good job after working so long!
Hideaki Sorachi (Gintama) - The exit of the shinobi was truly elegant like the wind. Kishimoto-sensei, I'm saying goodbye to Naruto. Believe it.
Shūichi Asō (Saiki Kusuo no Psi Nan) - This week's author's comments section seems like it's going to be crazy. (laughs) Kishimoto-sensei, good job after so long!
Haruichi Furudate (Haikyu!!) - It was an honor to collaborate at the Anime Festa. Naruto's coolness is my admiration!
Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro (Toriko) - Whoa! Kishimoto-san, really, congratulations on finishing up these 15 years! Thank you for Naruto!
Naoshi Komi (Nisekoi) - I'm very happy to have been present for the end of a legendary serialization. Really, good work on finishing after so long!
Daisuke Ashihara (World Trigger) - A piece of history from Jump has ended. Kishimoto-sensei, good job on your giant serialization of 15 years.
Shinsuke Kondō (Judos) - I respect the work that became the bridge for Jump for the past 15 years from the bottom of my heart. Kishimoto-sensei, good work for so long!
Ippei Gotō (Hi-Fi Cluster) - Kishimoto-sensei, good job finishing after working so long. It's an honor to share the same pages of this celebrated issue.
Ryō Nakama (Isobe Isobee Monogatari ~Ukiyo wa Tsurai yo~) - I think the young manga creators are currently passionate in trying to succeed Naruto. I'll do my best as well.
Tite Kubo (Bleach) - Kishimoto-san, good work afer so long! I think you'll still be busy after finishing, but at least take a little rest!
Osamu Akimoto (Kochira Katsushika-ku Kamearikouen-mae Hashutsujo) - Kishimoto-san, good work on a long, 15-year serialization. I'll be waiting for you to return with your new work.
Yūto Kubota (Sporting Salt) - Kishimoto-sensei, good work for so long! I've been reading the manga since I was a child. I love Rock Lee.
Yousaku Shibata (Yoakemono) - Kishimoto-sensei, good work finishing after so long! I'm going to go on a training journey and come back when I'm more skilled! Thank you!
Kishimoto also left a message of his own:

I feel both happy and sad reaching my final chapter. It's a difficult feeling. Even so, I can say this: My thanks to all the readers. Thank you so much for reading until the end. Thanks for so long, and good work. Believe it!!

CC2 are absolutely brilliant, and I love how they always deliver a cutscene where Naruto brutally punches Sasuke in the face.

Friends Fight Each Other

Also, speaking of CC2, I came across this video during Ninja Storm 3's original release:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSGJTj8srWE

Does anyone recognize the track used in the video? It really sounds like it belong in some sort of Naruto OST, but I cant seem to place it.

I'm back and I see people in here arguing over who's more powerful. So it went from who's more powerful between Sasuke and Naruto to DBZ's Brolly? Well continue on while I happily spread the gospel of the GREAT ending that was Naruto lol!

That design is like a rip-off of Kuchiki Byakuya. (i like it though).

Lately i've been playing Revolution and it's just a lot of fun. I usually go with Kankurou, Sasori and Chiyo-ba (Puppetmasters) and i watch, as the framerate drops, how i destroy everything with them. Epic fights.

All right, Hokage ranking time.Best to worst. Not most powerful, but overall favorite.

1)Minato
2)Tobirama
3)Kakashi
4)Hashirama
5)Hiruzen
6)Tsunade
7)Naruto

Hilarious.

They're all pretty spot on, lol. Gotta love Yamato look disappointed in the background.

Which reminds me; we hardly got to see Yamato before he disappeared again. So disappointing.

Do you want us to rate the best or our favourites, cause I don't see how Kakashi deserves third place when he was a glorified bench warmer.

1. Naruto - protected the village from Nagato, saved the shinobi world from Obito, Madara, Black Zetsu and Kaguya, and ultimately ushered in an age of peace, surpassing all those before him.
2. Hiruzen - the motherfucking Professor, in charge of Konoha for over forty years, led the village through at least two Shinobi World Wars, carried on the Will of Fire and inspired future generations all the way down to the Seventh Hokage and inevitable Eight (Konohamaru).
3. Hashirama - founder of the shinobi village system and the Will of Fire, a visionary ahead of his time that strived for peace whilst protecting his village from the likes of Madara.
4. Tsunade - a true inheritor of the Will of Fire that trusted her people, risked her life to save as many as she could, and led her village through the Fourth Shinobi World War.
5. Tobirama - set the foundations for the village's longterm survival as well acting as a catalysts for tension and strife.
6. Minato - extinguished in his prime but protected the village with his life.
7. Kakashi - no idea what he did, presumably kept Naruto's seat warm.

Sai: "Did i read the wrong books?"

Hilarious.

No Sai, where you went wrong was thinking foolishly that a book created from the manga would spoil the ending of the manga before the manga was close to finishing.

If anything Naruto has shown to people its you make your own destiny....and that is where all these people saying "oh but the parallels", look incredibly silly. You have not only disregarded or straight up ignored the actual relationships between the characters and their developments but weigh more importance on these "parallels" than what the characters actually want.

Ranking Hokages:

everyone>>>>>>> Hiruzen

Hiruzen fails for listening to Danzo and murdering an entire clan.

I do wonder how the people of the hidden leaf react of they are ever told the truth.....that the hokage was the one that allowed an entire clan to be murdered.

Everybod know that Hiruzen and Danzo did the right thing , the Uniha clan needed to be ended.

As someone shipping SasuSaku you are the last person in this thread that should be saying this shit.
