Can someone explain to me what exactly is ballstreams? I know it's currently not taking in new members but is it actually a legal site? How is it able to show NBA games given league pass?

Howdy, y'all~

Normally I refrain from posting until the final month of the regular season like I just did with the MLB, but I guess I'm excited for the Rockets again. Hopefully there'll be no major injuries this time around, and I'm hopeful that they'll contend again in the West.

I totally forgot that Dwight Howard is suspended tonight for the flagrant fouls in the playoffs via the refs.

Fear the Beard again just like Dallas Keuchel, except stop the turnovers please.

Very sorry about Flip. I liked him a lot as a coach. Fuck cancer.

It's legal due to its European origin. And its great. I subscribe. Every single game on demand and live. No blackouts.

Just watched my first whole NBA match, and that was exciting! It was the Cavaliers vs. Bulls, even the president was there woah. I liked what I saw of Rose, Jimmy Butler and Mirototic. I don't know any of the players, so it's cool to see them play.

There's still some things I don't understand, like when there's a penalty and when there's a throw-in. And why they sometimes get one penalty shot, then two and three penalty shots. But I'll eventually find out and read up on it.

Can't wait to see LA Lakers!

If a player is in the act of shooting and gets fouled, he gets two shots. If he gets fouled while shooting behind the 3 point arc, he gets three shots. If he gets fouled while shooting but manages to also make the shot (from anywhere on the floor) then he gets one shot.

If a foul occurs when someone is just moving without the ball or if the man with the ball gets fouled just dribbling, without having taken a shot, then it's just a throw in from out of of bounds.

Basically the foul / penalty shots are meant to match the possible points you could have gotten when a foul took place. So if you're shooting a 3 pointer and get hammered, then you get 3 foul shots to make up for that. If you're fouled just running down the floor, then it's a throw in because you weren't robbed of any possible points.

edit: also, foul shots are always worth one point each.

Ballstreams is more of a benefit to domestic fans of the NBA since it's tremendously cheaper than League Pass. International League Pass is much cheaper since theyre not pissing off networks

Also, my biggest mistake of last year was never watching The Starters. I love these guys

Cant wait to see the Twolves tonight. Top 5 League Pass team

Also, Jahlil will probably do bad tonight and this season which will freak out everyone, bist post scoring big men take a couple of years to develop.

Tonight Laker GAF: The Lakers begin another long and painful season, filled with bone headed coaching decisions, shit that will leave you scratching your head. teams that wont trade for anything we have at the deadline, and what will most likely be a 25 win season.

I will never forget or forgive the way management has dismantled any aura of a great organization, and not since the fall of Rome has such mighty empire come to an all to quick and decisive end.

For the first time in my entire life, that spans almost 4 decades. I stopped watching the Lakers last year around the January mark.

First time ever. I expect nothing more this year.

Thanks, this makes a lot more sense. I'll try look out for the fouls when I watch today's matches. :)

And it is so weird to me seeing LA Lakers is apparently shit these days? When I were a kid and younger, they were THE team with O'Neill but I never really watched them play. I just wonder how you can go from one of the greatest to what they are today.

Today's match will be the first time I'll see a full LA Lakers match.

Yeah, they have declined. Even after O'Neil they managed to win two more championships in the late 2000's.

It's just bad timing, losing on some free agents + Kobe getting old. They have some promising young players though, so it's not all doom and gloom.

I'm cheering for the Lakers tbh. I want Kobe to go out with some dignity. Plus I love Randle as a former UK player and I really like D'Angelo.

Nice, some love for The Warriors too. It's amazing that they also had Wilt too. Curry looks like to be the player to match up to this season.

Nice to meet Warriors fans on here with some mutual respect for both franchises. On Reddit it's pretty damn brutal at times to be a Lakers fan.

I meant more on Kobe alone. For the Lakers? Not sure what to expect out of them. Sad thing is, I'm curious if Lamar could have been in play for a small role.

Smart needs to get better at the screen and roll. Zeller got that foul but it was actually Smart's fault the way he delayed around the screen. Smart is incredible defensively though. Strong, quick, and savvy.

Okafor has every move under down low.

I said it during the draft - most polished post player to come into the league since Duncan. Against this Celtics D that's enough. Expect we'll see Johnson on him soon.
