The Kings only have 3 more wins then the Sixers who are playing really good basketball recently even without Embiid. (Dario Daric last 5 games has been basically averaging 18 ppg and like 8 rebounds of the bench. Shooting, Rebounding, Defense, and passing have all been really on display. Embiid is probably going to play sometime soon, and Simmons might be fucked for the season. (No one knows wtf is going on with that because Colangelo is a lying sack of shit)
The Kings are banking on the Sixers to not go higher in the standings, but in reality, The Sixers are 5.5 games out of a playoff spot (I doubt we'll make it, but crazier things have happened) Even then, the Sixers now have no incentive to tank since the Kings decided to do it for them.
The funniest thing on earth would be the Sixers going on a massive tear and making the playoffs while the kings end up with as a bottom 5 team.
Also, everyone needs to recognize the name Luka Doncic for next years 1st overall. Dude is 17 and putting up like 8 ppg there and playing 20 minutes for Real madrid, in literally the second best basketball league in the world on a really good team. 17 years old. I hope and pray that the Lakers still suck next year and we somehow get the first overall from them.

To Sac Kings defense, the owner was getting tired of Boogie and refused to give him a long term deal....So getting rid of him and the headache and try again rebuilding ...They already got a nice replacement in Cauley Steins ...So just tank the rest of the season and try to get one of those two ballers in Lonzo Ball or Markelle Fultz ...What they need too do tho is get rid of the GM Divac ...He fucking terrible

I get wanting to avoid the constant headache but THIS is the big deal? Who knows when the Kings will have another Cousins.. a versatile player, good passer, athletic, 30+ PPG.. I mean why not wait for a better deal? Or was there some deadline?
The problem isn't that they decided to move on from Cousins and blow everything up, it's that they got took a terrible return. They also lied to Cousins and his agent about trading him which reportedly damagedthe little trust they had left with players and agents

Zach Randolph was way more cancerous than whatever Boogie is today prior to the former's Memphis stint. My prediction: Cousins' character will only get better.

Yep, this is very true. Z-Bo was much maligned during his Portland/NY days and look what happens in Memphis. Same thing will happen with Boogie and the Kings will still be terrible.

To be fair, the Hornets only drafted Kobe because the Lakers told them to. And 11 other teams in that draft passed on Kobe too. So that trade is at least understandable to some degree.

I mean, Kobe's camp orchestrated that trade before he was even drafted. He was never going to play for Charlotte. He recently denied it in the past couple of years, but word at the time was there was 0 chance of it happening.
Where the Hornets screwed up is that Steve Nash was still on the board.
