NBA 2017 Playoffs |OT| WE DID IT

Raptors are seriously benefiting from that "we have about 17 players who can play at least a few minutes in an NBA game, to the point that we're putting decent players on our d-league team" sort of depth. Add Casey's one main strength (imo), always, constantly changing up his lineups and rotations (they didn't do it in game 1, and it hurt them), and the Raptors are suddenly getting decent minutes out of their younger, lengthier, more athletic players.

Delon Wright is probably gonna get more minutes, although I hope Powell can play more too

Both haven't been past the 2nd round as the main offensive option, that's what I'm trying to get across. Replace Aldridge with Kawhi on that 13-14 roster and I think it's fair to say he will be wearing a 2014 NBA Champs cap as well since Kawhi definitely didn't lock up LeBron(going by the stats).

CHUCK SHOOTING

he said he was uncomfortable having to talk about the whole thing with Isaiah and then start talking about basketball

Really think Celtics by 20 tonight. It is not a reverse jinx as the Bulls lost to the Knicks and Nets late in this season when they were trying to make the playoffs. Inconsistent .500 team.

This commercial, talking about players being made "immortal" by Atlantic Division Banners...

...It's so hard being a Raps fan sometimes.

Ooooh, GODO DAYYUM! Barkley firing back at the media and Kenny sticking up for what he was saying.

Good to know that Isaiah Thomas also reached out to him for the understanding comments as well.

Thought Charles was gonna be like "you fools, punks in the media are asshos."

Bucks only down 3 with Giannis relatively quiet and Toronto playing well. Even if Toronto ultimately wins this series, hard to see that happening in less than 7.

Wow. I started watching when Bulls were 0 to 9. Now it's 17-11 I think. They're playing really well. Rondo looks real good.

Despite this they're only down 3. That's a pretty good sign for them, because Giannis might not stay cold the whole game.

or the Raptors to stay hot in the 3pt line. Something's got to give. Kidd's rotation is ass though but I kinda get it because fouls are often called. He probably does not want to put Monroe and Maker on foul trouble, saving them in the second half.

Lol, Bulls can't even run a proper looking fast break. All those years for Rondo and Wade and it's a bumbling mess. I love you anyway Bulls, but god damn.

So this is what happens when an under achieving team plays really well against an over achieving team playing poorly.

He's guarded him well, didn't "lock him up."

LeBron played pretty well that Finals, the rest of the Heat outside of Bosh just didn't show up.

But those numbers don't show the full impact of Leonard's defense.

In Game 3, James had a series-high 73 offensive touches but attempted only 14 shots. James was guarded by Leonard on 65 percent of the Heat's possessions with James on the court in Game 3, the most Leonard has defended James in any game this series.

Let's take a look at how Leonard has made LeBron's life more difficult in the NBA Finals.

Fewer shots

Only 17 percent of LeBron's touches against Leonard in the Finals have resulted in a field goal attempt. That's half the rate James has against all other defenders. That means Leonard has been successful forcing him to pass the ball or turn it over.

Fewer touches

Leonard has been successful keeping the ball out of LeBron's hands. James has been held without a touch on 35 percent of the Heat's possessions when he's guarded by Leonard. Against all other defenders he's held without a touch 25 percent of the time.

Fewer drives

James has driven to the basket on 13 percent of his touches against Leonard. That rate jumps to 22 percent against all other defenders. Leonard has been able to keep James in front of him and force tough angles to keep him away from the basket.

like, what?

also the article ends on

Whether or not the Heat overcome the 2-1 series deficit could depend on how successful James is against Leonard's defense going forward.

and we all know how that turned out, who won finals mvp, and why he won finals mvp

this is what happens when the bulls play.....period. look at them against top seeded teams.....they've either won or lost in very close fashion for the most part

then they get blown out by the 76er's lol

That's true. Their WL record against top teams is strong when they can't defeat the creampuffs. It's strange.

Look at all three game ones, and compare it to the rest of his playoffs.

Lowry is currently, at the half, at 17/2/3/2/1, 2-3 from the 3, 4-8 FGs, 7-7 from free throw line.

That just reiterates my point honestly. LeBron had a relatively good series and like I said, no one else showed up(mainly Wade as the 2nd playmaker/scorer).

Not sure how 28/7/4 on 57/52 shooting is getting "locked up."

You must've forgotten how phenomenal LeBron was. People expected 32/8/8 on 63% shooting. Not him getting frustrated by a 2nd/3rd year player and not wanting him in the game because LeBron would have to work harder to try and score.

Mind you, this is across the entire playoffs, and Kawhi really stood out in the finals. Saying he was carried by his teammates and that he wasn't doing the same for the others is stupid.

Spurs and Pistons were so evenly divided, crazy

Incredibly Naive
This is fucking insane. 8 2nd Chance points already. I've seen horford get bodied by rondo, Lopez, AND 90 year old Wade in 1 fucking quarter. Have some fucking balls ffs.
