I get what you're saying and tend to agree. But if we're being honest, how many guys get drafted who average 4 pts per game after a serious medical issue?

Zero. That's why I think he should stay at USC while he continues his recovery and improves his game. The guy is probably already a millionaire from NIL money. If Lakers draft him cuz Lebron says so then they are drafting Lebron's ego, not Lebron's son.

Feel like Boston needs Porzingus to win it all, congrats Pacers, Mavs and Timberwolves I always welcome teams without rings to win it all.

"I mean, I think they're built to beat us," Jokic said. "Just look at their roster. They have basically two All-Stars, two probably first-team defensive players. Mike Conley is the most underrated player in the NBA, probably.

"From the bench, they have a Sixth Man of the Year. ... [They are] one team that they can do literally everything. They can be big, small."

Minny is more spread out. Edwards shot terribly, yet they still won.
Minnesota has the best collective defense in the NBA and of course, the DPY, Rudy Gobert.

I'm hoping the Mavs can pull this one out, but it will be incredibly difficult.
I think the Stars have a better chance at a championship this year, tbh.

Aaron Gordon got 4 pts and 4 rebs in 42 minutes. G*d damn it!

In the Knicks game, Harsteinson got 0 pts.
These big ass centers are not getting the boards lol. So funny and pretty useless.

Jokic played the full game last night, he only sat 1 minute in the first half. Pathetc effort by the rest of Denver.

Wolves are a better team IMO but I still expected denver to clutch at home.

One of the reasons Anthony Edwards was so motivated to send the defending champions home was his encounter with Jamal Murray at a cocktail bar in Denver this time last year. According to Ant, Murray approached him and his team while they were having drinks and took the opportunity to trash-talk them.

"He was talking s---," Edwards told ESPN. "He was telling Mike (Conley), 'I'm sick of you, you can't guard me,' and all that. I told him, 'We'll be back. You'll see us again when we're fully loaded.'"

Well as much as that makes sense, Jamal would have been doing the same this year had he been healthy.

Oh boy, the Mavs might make it to the NBA Finals.

Uber driver had radio on yesterday and they were talking about how the Stars and Mavs made it deep many times in 2 decades. Yet Jerry Jones being at the helm has gotten the Cowboys nowhere ever since the early 90s. Even the fucking Rangers won a ring this century.

Damn! I turned the game off with 55 seconds left cause I thought it was over. Had to get up early for work and then I saw the celtics won.

Fuck me that must be demoralizing for the pacers. Hell yeah. Only 7 more wins Cs

Not to derail the topic, but it has been over 10,000 days since the Cowboys last played in a Conference championship game. :messenger_astonished:
(much less a Super Bowl)

Let that sink in.

I went to bed early. I saw the start and it was 12-0 Celts. Then half time a draw. Then it was close in the third and I bailed. Woke up and saw it was an OT win for Celts. Whatever...... then I read about Pacers fucking up plays in the last minute. lol

The NBA Finals will be on ABC, but yeah everything else is f*cked.
I have ESPN , but no TNT, so watching games in the playoffs has been challenging for me, too.

Both series are currently 3-0. Looks very likely that we're getting a Dallas vs Boston finals...

I definately didnt expect 2 sweeps in the conference finals. Lets see if the Mavs can pull it off but regardless they should be moving on.

Celtics seem like the better team on paper but you could have said the same thing about the TWolves...

It's so dumb. Football is gonna be even worse with more games going to streaming services. Eventually the greed is gonna make me stop watching. Every year I kove closer to that reality

Lebron talking about how much he loves and misses Kyrie is the proverbial butterfly who farts in South America and causes a hurricane in New England. He's gonna give Kyrie the perfect excuse for quitting on the Mavs if they go down 0-2.

I was rooting for the Mavs but at this point I kind of want a sweep just to see how the viewership numbers will look.

What time is it?
Mavs fan but hats off to the Celtics D. They've really exposed the flaws in the Mavs ball dominate offense. If they could find their shooting touch, these last two games wouldn't be nearly as close.

1 win away. Kidd calling a time out on a 22-2 run and then Luka fouling out finished the mavs off.

That kyrie 3 at the end had me holding my breath. White and holiday have been great. Brown probably got the mvp tonight

Kidd also let that Boston run in the 3rd go a possession or two too long. He also played THJ more than zero minutes. FML

Even when the game was close last night, it felt like the Celtics were just going to win anyway. You have a complete team on one side, and a couple divas with their supporting cast on the other. A complete mismatch, and Boston has made it look relatively easy.

I dont get how Mavs even made it this far. They look totally outclassed by Celts.
They took out the 4, 1, and 3 seeds in the west to get here. The Celtics meanwhile were beating up on a bunch of injured opponents in the east.

I knew Boston had the better roster but I thought Dallas would look a little more battle-tested than this.

Blowing that big comeback last night seems like the final nail in the coffin.
