Warriors don't need KD. They have enough scoring. D and Rebounding is what they need. Bogut is a walking corpse, Ezeli is just a big body that can't do much. I would like to see the W's make a run at D12. IMO, Dwight would be a perfect fit in GS.

Healthy Dwight could work great, just not sure he's worth it at this point in his career.

Man Orlando Dwight with Steph, Klay and Dray would go 82-0.

I wonder if OKC would accept Barnes and Bogut for Steven Adams.

See they're only giving up 1 player for 2 players in return so it's worth it.

I think Dwight would be fine on the Warriors, they have such great chemistry there and he wouldn't be looked at as a savior. It'd probably be the exact kind of it situation he needs.

There are legitimate concerns about Dwight's locker room chemistry and his on-court game has not evolved enough to compensate for his back and general declining athleticism.

That said, he might be a bargain thanks to the Houston debacle, so maybe?

If Dwight wasn't too expensive I'd say do it do it, especially if Ezeli leaves. But I feel like he'll still get some hefty offers, despite all that's happened with Houston.

1-2 years at 15-20 million each season, that'd be fair for Dwight from the warriors
they can just low ball too and say "do you want a ring, or get paid? If you pass we can just go after Whiteside or Biyombo as well.

Dwight wouldn't fuck up this team

Warriors can just throw the max at KD if they want, I'd rather get KD than sign Max Barnes

He gonna cry in the car
It's criminal that the Warriors go 73-9 and are in the running with other teams to sign a big free agent - not to mention the expiration of Barnes' contract and there being quite a few valuable players available in the same off-season...dat timing.

God Bless Curry's Ankles

I can't believe players like Iguodala, Livingston, Barbosa were just floating around the league, waiting to be picked up. Someone who could play great D (on Lebron even), score, handle the ball in Iggy. Just feels like they have a real potential for their bench in mind, while most of the league is just filling a roster spot.

Pretty sure the Warriors traded for Iggy from Denver.

Who if I remember right actually left on really bad terms. Basically selling his team out to the Warriors the season prior by disclosing strategies and secrets. Or something. I just know George Karl hates Iggy now.

We sign and traded for Iggy to be a starter (that was a huge FA deal for us- had to give up 1st round draft picks)....Kerr was the one that decided to have him head the bench brigade. As for Livingston, I'm glad we picked him up quick for the MLE. He was balling for the Nets.

Dwight is looking mortality in the eye. I'd be shocked if he signed anything less than a full, mutliyear max. This could be his last big contract with the way his physical trajectory is looking.

By that same logic he could sign with a contender because it's his last chance for a ring. Either scenario would make sense.

Watching the game now:

1. I like the trajectory the splash brothers are on. Game 1 was convalescence after beating the monstars. Game 2 is active rehab/recovery. Game 3 will be domination.

2. The Western Conference ball movement and defense made Kevin Love dizzy.

3. Lebron walked away from Draymond for about 13 points worth. Cleveland with some regular season, middle of a road trip defense out there.

4. Super secret nuclear weapon Channing Frye, Richard Jefferson, and Deli Meats are a riot. Throw Shumpert in that mix as well, his hair somehow got even more ridiculous.

I would love Biyombo on Golden State right now. Like no GS center has ever gotten 26 rebounds in a game. Not that Bogut doesn't do a lot of good things, but he simply can't bring it every night at this point.

But guess we'll have to see if this postseason was an anomaly for Bismack. I could see him getting a big deal this summer and then not living up to it.

Trust me, you don't.

Biyombo's only good for D and rebounding, and if he's not providing that (there's been a few times where he didn't make a huge impact on D) then you're getting dead weight. Maybe he can improve his offense, but idk. Might be too late. I agree in that I think whoever gets Biyombo for the money that he wants is going to regret signing that contract.

I think the Warriors have 18 million in cap space this offseason. If they were to sign Dwight, they'd have to go over the tax to fill out the rest of their roster. Heck, I don't even know if they can keep either Ezeli or Barnes. There's just too much cap space floating around.

Only worry about Golden State's bench is that we could get old in a hurry. Livingston is the youngest of the group and he'll be 31 in September. Could really use some young talent.

Granted bench minutes means that age may not show itself any time soon, but GS hasn't hit on anyone young since the 2012 draft.

Did you not see Speights' snapchat? Barnes and Ezeli are gone. I'm not shedding any tears, if anything, it won't let the Warriors' front office grow complacent the way championship teams tend to.

That's why you can't slide Iggy into the starting line up. Ian Clark is all over it, he relishes the opportunity etc. etc.
I hope there's someone good out there in FA

Has anyone posted this?

I just saw it in real time and Iggy kept talking for another 5 seconds until the camera had to follow the the game to the other side of the floor.

edit: He's STILL talking to her. I wish someone had a newspaper brought down to the bench to have one of the players read it theatrically like Rodman back in the day.

Look at San Antonio's bench, you guys are solid. I think veterans are a really good option off the bench. As a Bulls fan, we've ignored signing vets to the bench and as a result I think we have a bunch of doofuses who don't know the game, and can't make a dependable contribution

One thing I'm curious about is why does the hockey regular season/playoff threads get so much more activity than the basketball threads (multiple OTs for each) while the NBA finals threads demolish the Stanley Cup threads in activity. Are there just not as much dedicated NBA fans here and people mostly care about the finals?

What about GSW going for Whiteside? He's younger and more athletic than Howard.
Physically he would fit perfectly, but there are big questions about how good a defender he actually is other than weakside blocks. Also a terrible passer who had a whopping 29 assists this year.

This is kinda specific / tough to find, but Warriors need someone like that physically who's also willing to play third or fourth fiddle on offense and is intelligent defensively.

I honestly don't think Whiteside has the maturity to play for the Warriors.

you're not gonna be in the league if you can't ball (in most cases). they just needed to be put in the right scheme and cast.

GSW just picked the exact right mix to fuck the game up.

While the entire Eastern Conference has been scouring the globe for a Lebron stopper, he's been hanging around in Oakland.
