NBA Offseason 2017 |OT| Only Big Ballers™ Allowed *please pay $495 to be a Big Baller

Yeah and let's be honest here, the Warriors had some fun teams with the Run TMC and the second Nelly Ball teams, but they weren't really relevant since the 70's. Steph is the definition of a franchise player in the NBA and he's one of just two guys currently playing who can claim that (sorry KD).
Agreed. I meant Wilt is a legend, but he was only with the Warriors for like 6 years and never won a title with them. Steph started the rebuild from decades of insignificance to the best team in the NBA.

Not single elim

but yeah I said seeded 1-16

Yeah and I agree with the 1-16 seeding. But single elimination game is the only way more teams will be able to win a title every year. Not saying it makes the league better, but it's the path to go if you want more teams in the race yearly.

they dont need to get rid of conferences

i'm just not watching the regular season

it's so obvious that the real teams don't even try in reg season, literally meaningless to watch. wake me up in april

FUCK that's so far

Patty Mills reups with the Spurs for 4/$50 million. And people thought some other team could get him on the cheap lol. Really handcuffs the Spurs cap in terms of maneuvering for another superstar.

Huh, thought he was with the Philadelphia Warriors for longer, but he went from the Philadelphia Warriors to the San Francisco Warriors to the 76ers to the Lakers.

That's confusing.

Last regular season was surprisingly fun to watch though, it's the playoffs that were boring. LionPride is right, the regular season was great.

Definitely isn't happening this year. Next summer the Spurs are going to have a very good chunk of cap space and that's when I think they are going to make some big decisions. It's looking like this off season is all about securing the role players for the next 4-5 years

Joe Ingles has not received any offers, agent Mark Bartelstein clarified. He'll begin to meet with teams, including the Jazz, on Saturday.

Btw, it feels like the Western Conference looked at the Warriors, and then shrugged its shoulders collectively and decided that they didn't give a fuck.

Ramona gon scare people theorizing that PG and Russie could both leave next year

Also the West got real fuckin bold this offseason goddamn

Iguodala leaving will speed up development of players like McCaw. The Warriors dodged several bullets last offseason (practically every departure underperformed on their new teams); sadly, I predict the same for Andre.

Clippers need to just move to Seattle and bring back the Sonics. Lakers been trash for four years and that still wasn't enough to get people talking about the Clips.

If Ainge traded 3 first rounders Jae and Bradley for Oladipo and Sabonis he'd be a laughingstock.. That's what Indy just did along with turning down better deals from other teams.

Teague is barf. Don't know why Minn went that direction.

Ya and now talks are they are going to try and spend the rest of their cap space on Redick. When will teams learn that one way players are significantly less valuable than two way guys. Holiday, Lowry or Hill by themselves is a better haul than Teague and Redick.

"Ramona on ESPN saying IND didn't take LAL trade bc they likely didn't want to give PG what he wanted w/out winning the trade"

Pacers didn't think that one through if that's the case lol. All you're doing is "screwing" him over 1 year, he will still go somewhere, and even then that's hardly screwing anyone over lol. Sabonis + Oladipo is very underwhelming.

Should've sent him to Sacramento or Orlando if they really wanted to screw him over

Didn't the same thing happen with Vlade and the Kings? Hell the Bulls too? Ainge needs to stop fucking low balling and make these shitty GM worried their not going to receive a better offer.

Kaufman has said since jump, and other guys have corroborated this, that the deal was sign Hayward, then give the Grizzlies pick, Smart, Crowder and Bradley.

That's a fucking haul compared to the garbage fire they got.

Those 3 first rounders are likely all non lottery picks. Jae Crowder is a solid role player on a great contract and that's it. I get that the deal the Pacers took was bad, but Boston could and should have offered something better.
