I don't know if there is anyone hyped in the next draft but this injury is going to lead to some Robinson/Duncan shenanigans and the 76ers are going to run the league for the next 15 years.
Probably not

If their big draft picks are constantly getting injured or becoming disgruntled they are never going to develop the kind of chemistry needed. This kind of stuff sets back the development of the franchise big time. Now they have a year down the drain of knowing if/how Simmons can play with guys like Noel or Okafor, and whether or not they should trade those guys. Talent alone doesn't mean anything. They are currently on a train to nowhere.
Man, what the fuck is going on at the Sixers with those injuries? Did they hire the rejects of the Pelicans' medical team?
Simmons might be able to play with anyone, but at some point they have to develop chemistry. Collecting assets is only a part of the battle, and it doesn't guarantee anything. This doesn't just set back Simmons' development, but the franchise as a whole. At some point you need to stop collecting and put something together, and this is going to preclude them from doing that for another year.
yeah, the Celtics and Heat and Cavs had massive chemistry issues and didnt make it to the finals when they had a massive increase in talent in the first year they all played together
Chemistry is important, but these guys are in their early 20's and are under Sixers control for a very long time.
The idea of "fit" means nothing with players like Simmons who do everything at the very minimum of good.
I don't see how you can say that Simmons will probably be out six months to a year, but think it won't set back his development.
And I'm not implying any of that, this is somewhat of a setback, but you're making it seem like it's some huge deal, when really, it could be one if and only if Simmons is injured in a way that negatively affects him from being an absolute dominant player.

This sucks, but its not the end of the world unless this majorly effects Simmons talents. And for that we don't know. But, even with the worst case scenario, Embiid is still capable of being dominant, Saric is a great prospect, they still have loads of cap space, and they still have a ludicrous amounts of draft picks.
Normal injury time is 3-4 months, you're talking about literally the worst case scenario where the injury requires a bone graft injury
The setback is hiring Bryan Colangelo.
I was quoting what you said, but accidentally put 6 months instead of 4 lol. I don't expect any long term issues, but a rookie missing that much of his first season is definitely a setback.
It really hurt Blake Griffin
Well it's not like I'm saying the injury will stop him from reaching his potential(that will be dependent on his shooting and dispelling the questions people had about his mentality in college). There are things players can only learn on the floor and he won't be able to practice for months so in my eyes it's a setback. Thus man knows what's up
It really hurt Blake Griffin
Simmons expected to miss three months. RIP.
I mean, that means he'll be back in December and will play most of the season. It's not ideal, but it's not half of or the entire season being missed here. Plus, it's not like the 6ers were about to compete for anything.
Here's hoping for a full (if not speedy) recovery. Nothing would be worse than a recurrence or some sort of stress-related injury in his other leg or knee due to trying to compensate.
Fantasy gem news right thereWhy is Harden a PG
Why is Harden a PG
Is this true. Lol.
Why is Harden a PG
Watching harden play PG tonight was interesting. Dude was throwing fucking alley oops everywhere and he definitely knows how to pass. If he doesn't get lazy he honestly could be a freak of scoring and passing. Tonight he showed flashes of it
But holy shit it seems Westbrook and harden are going to be top two to grab fantasy wise. These guys are going to just rack up points due to assists and points alone.
