As a fan, I have no idea how you fault T-Mac. Orlando management has shown how incompetent it is throughout this entire deal. It isn't as if they haven't shown it before. Let's just look at the players that they have let get away while in or close to their prime, Shaq, Penny, T-Mac, you could say that D Armstrong was still a solid player when they let him go as well. Shaq talked bad about the management on the way out, and this weekend Grant Hill was in Houston saying that the deal was done and would be announced after Steve went to Orlando. He also had no idea why the GM was lying to the press and other GMs. Either way, Orlando now has a nucleus that should be a force in the East. You gave up a player that was not going to be there after this season, so look at the positives in this.

You are both right about my error. The issue was with games played. So they would have been listed with 70 games played. I do feel McGrady in particular is overrated, but not on that stat. I should have remembered because there was a problem with Carlos Boozer not ranking among rebound leaders because he missed games with an injury. Thank you for reading and calling my attention to the mistake. It was a column, which is why it was not bylined.
