After a very chalky start this weekend of tournament basketball was a real joy to watch. Every game was close with two overtimes and some buzzer beaters to boot. While there will be no Zion in the final four I am sure we can expect a CBS Zion Cam. We will either have a new champion for the first time or we will have a return by Tom 'I yell at kids' Izzo. Each team has a little different flare; from the brutal defense of the Red Raiders to the 3-ball magic of the Tigers WARRRRRRRR EAAAAAGLES, to the resiliency of Virginia after being the first one seed to ever lose to a #16, and then the crafty veteran play of Spartans.

Three teams I had no faith in were Michigan, Tennessee, and UVA

I was wrong about UVA, obviously.

I definitely didn't see Tech coming either.

Wife's an MSU alum and is trying to figure out how to make a trip to Minneapolis work. That Duke game was incredible, here's hoping they can finish the job.

To think Auburn beat North Carolina, Kentucky and my Kansas Jayhawks is very impressive.

Being in the Big XII I am rooting for Texas Tech first and Auburn second. I respect the heck out of Izzo but they are the only team I don't want to win. Not a big deal if they do but I'd like to see a different team win a championship.

FWIW MSU hasn't won a championship in 19 years - in fact that was the last time ANY Big Ten team has won it all.

Yeah, that's why I never bet on the BIg10 anymore, but MSU looks tough as nails

A friend texted me right after the game and was said I got tickets who is coming with. She is a little too intense for her sparties. I really would like to see Auburn and their live and die threes make it to the final. The MSU vs UVA I think is the best headline since Izzo finally slayed his dragon Bennett would have a chance to slay his.
