No problem. If you ever want a good site to discuss sports games I recommend digitalsportspage.com Good group of older sports gamers so you don't have to put up with all the "will they have the Nike X-243w shoes in NBA Live" crap.

People who create threads to whine about EA FANBOYS BUYING CRAP LIKE IT'S CANDY don't seem like they have much of a life outside of games...

Yea it takes alot of time and common sense to figure out that going to the OFFICIAL 2Ksports website and hitting their forums could yield you rosters, or even OS for that matter. Why go where most sports gamers go to get such things.
 
Both of these guys are fake characters....it's the only reasonable possiblilty, unless the mods are letting it go on for some sort of self ownage record.......

Boy... I sure am glad that you figured that out on your own... that I was here to whine about EA fanboys. I thought I was displaying a humorous picture taken from a game I had on Madden 2006. I'm glad I have all of you elitest gaming dorks to think for me.

I'm sorry... but I'm not a sporting god that cares about updated rosters... nor was I the one who asked about it. I simply want to play the best game around... which I cannot since EA crushed the competition with it's money and not it's inferior game.

It's too bad NFL decided to go either way. They should have left it the way it was... left it open for some of the best NFL games to be developed. I'd hate to see it go to Sega because the competition is what made the games what they were.

As I said in a previous post... if anything that I have posted could cause me to be banned, then this thread would have been less then 20 posts long.

This thread has only proven that this forum is populated mostly by dorks with nothing better to do then wait to flame anyone that has a negative OPINION on a Madden game (and other games for that matter).

Agreed. I was bracing myself at the end. The fact that someone could be in such a condition and still move around is pretty remarkable, if not a bit frightening.

Oh... don't get me wrong... I don't blame EA 100%. It's unfortunate that the NFL decided to take closed bids for the license. NFL put it out on the table and EA came back with the most money... but don't think that EA had nothing to do with the NFL putting it on the table to begin with.

But... I do blame EA for taking hold of the reins and doing very little with it.

Agreed... but did they take a vacation in that time? Where is the GREAT innovations that have been in previous iterations of the Madden franchise?

In my OPINION... the fear that plagued most "real" sports fans (that are not EA fanboys) that EA was going to sit on the license, at this time and for the most part, have become true.

Please note... that I said "In my OPINION"... not... "HEY EVERYONE.... THE FOLLOWING IS A FACT"....
 
Meh. There's a reason why the NFL2K series isn't around anymore while Madden still is. And it certainly doesn't deal with the quality between the two titles nor the exclusive deal.

The consumer voted with their dollar, end of story.

First off... let me thank you for attempting to have a normal conversation and not flaming me immediately with obscenities. Again... I do not take what you have to say the wrong way... so on with my answer:

I'm "wasting my time" because I mainly come here for gaming news and talk. I rarely post here because of the common flaming that goes on. I posted an image that I found to be humourous. Was I surprised by the flaming? Hell no... I was surprised that it only took 3 minutes to begin. Why am I still posting? Because it's fun to watch people try to pick me apart with little to no success.

It certainly does have to do with the exclusive deal. If it wasn't for the exclusive deal, the NFL2K series would still be here... and that is a FACT. You can't argue that.

The reason EA got the exclusive deal was due to the consumer dollar that was spent on all EA games... and that is why the NFL 2K series is dead.
