Got some new games to go with the new DSi.

Birds & Beans is fun, im' saving the other 800 points until DSiWare actually gets something good.

Looking forward to PW: Trials and Tribulations. Love the series.

Art Style: Aquia is excellent. Picked it up last night, and it's def. worth the 500 points.

I've heard some good things about that. If DSiWare has another slow week next Monday, i'll probably pick up Aquia.

My pickups for April!

Not so much a pickup, but something special I've been waiting to get done. All 4 different covers from EGM's 200 issue in a large picture frame to display the whole picture. All the more motivation to finally do it when the magazine got shuttered back in January.

And now an extra special pickup!

Flashed some roms and soldered them onto an old SFX cart?

Definitely a repro... nice label job though.

yea, looks very professional~

Thanks for all the comments! :D

And yes, MarkMan got it right, it is a reproduction cart. It's the full japanese ROM (since the game was officially finished in Japan) and then has an english language patch applied to it. The game is fully playable from beginning to end and quite difficult :D

The story on how I got it though, is through a customer that regularly comes into my store. He's recently been toying around with reproduction carts for games that never got releases here, and StarFox 2 was his first try. This one is made out of a Stunt Race FX cart, and I'll post pictures of the board later today. The only other game he said that could be converted to play SF2, was Doom, which is the first one he did.

dwarf hamsters are FU'CKING great !!! i had 5 (first one, then 2 and then another 2). I really loved them ! they all died naturally and lived longer as they are supposed to.

Cute as hell but tricky to find if you loose them in your house :)

I actually bought a Stunt Race cart back in college to do this once that final patch for the ROM came out, but couldn't ever get access to our EE department to use their EPROM flasher. Envy!

Wow, this picture is the first one I took with it. Mind blown at quality.
Does anyone know if this camera, is just as good as a SLR camera, like the Nikon D300, or the Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi???

Got this pretty cheap. A camera for the Dreamcast, of all things. As a camera it's utter rubbish, but I bought it for the novelty value and the software it come with is kinda neat. Also, is that not the happiest box art you have ever seen? FRIENDLY.

was also worth it for the head set mic, so I can play Seaman without having to talk into the controller. :lol

that depends on what you're measuring. I think you're comparing apples to oranges. no point and shoot is going to have the versatility of an SLR but you pay for that with added complexity and costs.

Does he just do SNES titles or what? I'd love an actual GBA copy of Mother 3.
