Also, if any of you guys had to choose between a Blanka Fight Pad or a Hori EX2, which would you use? (I'm a casual fighter fan and want to get better, but I don't want to drop a lot of money into a stick...)

Snaku said:I'm reading the TE stick thread on SRK, and they're saying that people who pre-ordered with Capcom won't be getting their sticks in the first batch!? WHHHHHHHAT!?
AZ Greg said:Yeah, I saw that. I don't think any of us are going to know who is getting their sticks until we either get called into the store we ordered at or get our tracking numbers. This is exactly why I told people not to cancel their other orders when the Capcom site opened up theirs.
I've got one ordered from both Amazon and Capcom, one of them better come through.![]()

h3ro said:Besides the obvious made by Hori, not Mad Catz, I believe the main difference is that the HRAP EX uses Hori buttons instead of full Sanwa like the TE (the Joystick is Sanwa on the EX?) and it's not as rare/1337.
(I think that's it, I'm sure the stick elitists will chime in)
You're good to go.LevityNYC said:ehh, fuck it....ill wait for the tourney stick.
I picked up an octagonal gate from lizard lick.
From my research
Sanwa GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate
is the one to get correct?

I'm thinking of canceling my preorder for the TE stick, getting the three above games, and just getting the regular Mad Catz stick when I get the cash and modding it with Sanwa parts when I get the money to do that. Thoughts?
Good idea, I'll think about it.LevityNYC said:why not just get your stick and sell it. Im sure you'll make a profit
I imagine someone on GAF would take it off your hands plus a little extra. (I will if it's a 360 sticktwinturbo2 said:You know, I'm having a bit of buyer's remorse over preordering the TE stick. 5-7 frames? It must be like playing the DC port of 3rd Strike except every game is like that.beermonkey@tehbias said:It's actually worse than that guy says in that the PS2 BC lag still exists with 480i analog output. Three frames alone doesn't seem that much but when you combine it with HDTV lag (2-4 frames on sets I've used) all of a sudden the cumulative 5-7 frame lag becomes very noticeable in many games.

To all who ordered Street Fighter IV Mad Catz controllers from the Capcom Store, Thank You!
As has been widely reported, allocations of the controllers did not meet demand. What this means is that many of you will get a backorder notice on the release date. Mad Catz is working to make more available but they will not be in stock until April. Backorders will be filled as soon as we have additional stock.
Because of this we are limiting quantities to two tournament editions per person; that's two total in any combination. For those who purchased multiple tournament sticks your orders will be reduced down to two. We want to be able to accommodate those who ordered two of the same version so that they could play with a friend. Those who ordered multiples of both versions will see your orders reduced to one of each version.
Thanks again for your enthusiastic support.
The Capcom Store.
