Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm wondering if I would be able to add a 360 PCB to the PS3 TE stick.

Thanks for the reply and the cthulu suggestion. Unfortunately, I only have a PS3 TE and PS3 standard on pre-order right now.letsbereasonable said:I might be wrong, but I believe the thinking was that while it might be easier to add a Cthulhu to a 360 TE, you should be able to add a 360 pcb to the PS3 TE.

Going to have to take a gutted 360 controller, and wire it up to your controller. Check out tech talk in SRK, the information is all compiled there.GalacticAE said:Thanks for the reply and the cthulu suggestion. Unfortunately, I only have a PS3 TE and PS3 standard on pre-order right now.

thanks for the quick reply ;o i'm reading that the buttons are easy to replace, right? what type of hardware am i gonna need to get the job done? ;o and the button layout seems a bit different from the TE, that's not really an issue is it?drohne said:yep. and besides the annoying protective film, which should be easy to remove if you're replacing the buttons, i'm liking the hrap ex a lot. imo the black mirror top is more solid and more attractive than the printed top on the hrap 3, and surprisingly it doesn't smudge as easily. it's going to look awesome once i get those sanwa buttons in -- the color-coded default buttons are too consoley

site seems to be down now, but I'll check it out later. thanks for the infodrohne said:they're just kind of mushy and unresponsive in comparison to sanwas -- it's possible to push the plunger down slightly without activating the button. i'm not sure if this is enough to make you miss inputs, but timings for certain things can be very sensitive in hd remix and sf4, and i'm just more comfortable with sanwas
a guide (written for the hrap 2, but as far as the buttons and balltop go, it applies to the 3 and ex as well): http://forums.shoryuken.com/showthread.php?t=132472
button layout wouldn't be an issue for any game with button mapping options

I assume something inside the stick hasn't been grounded properly...it's about the only reason I can imagine this type of noise existing, but I haven't had the time or energy to take the damn thing back apart and look for what's precisely wrong. But either way - unless you already have a terrible case of tinnitus , this will drive you absolutely insane and render the headphone support useless until fixed.

Garcian said:Quick question about installing button plugs into an HRAP EX - what do you do with the wires for the buttons that are being replaced by plugs?
UC1 said:I just put tape around them to make sure they don't accidentally connect to anything.
cr_blah_blah said:did you order from here? and which shipping did you pick? Amazon won't ship until the 20th so I'm interested in getting it sooner if I can.
Amazon.UK customer said:I returned this Item, because I was under the impression it had a fault. Going through the startup section of Ghost Recon2, to enter the game. The control stick worked well, until it came to control the main charactor. Then nothing! Amazon as usual were quick to replace the said item and the same problem occurred again, with the above game. I realised the so called fault( if! I could call it that!) was'nt due the fighting stick but! more likely to Ghost Recon2's high spec setup. The fighting stick will be a top controller in many games, just make sure it's compatable with the game you want to use it on. I am holding on to this one. As it could be a real boon on PS3 games to come.

Has anyone received their TE stick from a brick and mortar Gamestop yet?
