Had to go Gamestop, the lure of the soundtrack was stronger than the Fry's price of $42.99.

May see if I can trick a Gamestop clerk and return the game without the soundtrack, then run over to Fry's anyway. :D

Some games for the month, Gundam Operation Troy is surprisingly good for a game running such a shitty engine. Zeon mobile suits are severely underpowered compared to the Feds though (which I guess is show accurate), takes a whole lot more skill to use. World Ends With You drives me nuts with the dual screen battle and unresponsive stylus. No wonder it bombed in Japan, it's a little too complex, but innovative all the same.

My SDCC Lobo just arrived in the mail. I'm such a DC Universe fanboy!

I'm thinking of getting that tv, how is it and what Logitech speakers are you using?
It's a great TV, and is at superb value. For it's price £560-570, you won't find many better LCD TVs than it. Blu-Ray looks very good, and most PS3 games look great.

Those speakers are Logitech X-230s - which are connected to my PC. The sound quality from the TV itself is fine, and I don't think I will need an external sound system any time soon.

If you won't use the TV only for gaming/PC, get a plasma. I don't think any LCD TV looks as good as a plasma set.

First impressions are welcome :D
AW i love it better in co-op, me and a buddy of mine spent an hour just messing around running each other over in monster trucks and what not. Missions are pretty varied from one to another, that was my biggest complaint with the first.

i got the Logitec G25 for my Birthday and sadly, after using it, it was more challenging wiring the thing and learning how to play it that use the standard PS3 controller.

after setup wich took forever

it reaks quality, but it's not convenient. every time i press the gas paddle, the whole throttle paddle slips away and im' playing in a carpet btw to avoid skip.

it work with the PC, which is not goof enough for be, but the bummer part it's not compatible with the 360 :(

i only used i with GT5P which worked, but obviously PGR5 didn't. Does anyone know if it's compatible with Burnout Paradise PS3?

standard controller ftw!!!

i had to go through so much trouble to buy a special table to set thins thing one when it didn't meet my expectations.....but I'll tell you something, the aluminum paddle shifterd felt fantastic!

You don't have to have the fan turned so it blows inwards just because you choose to put it on the side towards the outtake. And which ever side you choose as long as it blows out (only dumb people would have it blow in) the same amount of air would go through the heat sink on it's way out.

I have been building computer for over 10 years. The most effective way is to have the HSF blow into the HS, and out the other side into the exhaust fan.

It's my birthday tomorrow, so I decided to go out and get myself some stuff. God Hand was pretty random. Walked into a second GameStop to pick up Tales and decided to see if they had anything good in their used PS2. Looks like they did. :lol

Got a couple things this August:

Found Megaman ZX in the game section at a the BJ's wholesale store. It was 15 bucks so I decided to get it because it's still 20 bucks with the exception of a few places. I got some new shin guards for the upcoming soccer season at school (2-1 record so far :D). The Krispy Kreme doughnuts were an impulse buy. I just saw them at Giant Eagle and needed to have the best doughnuts in the world! :lol

Went to Dave & Buster's a few weeks ago with my sister. I was only there to play games like HoTD4, Time Crisis 4, and Mario Kart GP. My sister was the one who played the ticket games so I just took some of her tickets and got the goblet thingy and the chinese fingertraps (these things actually work). I found Drill Dozer at a Gamestop and wanted to try it out since I heard good things about it.

I got The World Ends With You from Points2Shop. It only took me 2 days to get enough points.

I went in to my local Fry's today after work and there was a stack of over 20 copies of the game. :D

Learned my lesson with Persona 4, when I took leave to get off work a little early and rush to Fry's for the game (it was discounted at launch as well). There was over 30 waiting for me that time.

Kadey

Mrs. Harvey
Filed a complaint against Estarland. Don't mess with me. :D
Looks like I have to wait till Sept. to post the stuff.

Nice! Where did you but the Retro Gamer? Are you in the US?

Also, if you don't mind, how much did you pay for the Sam Sho V Special kit?

The Road by Cormac McCarthy as recommended by some GAFers. Dark tortoise Tom Ford "Jason" sunglasses, just in time for the Aussie spring season.

The games onslaught (and wallet raping) begins next week.
