I just made that up. Psych! There is just one rule: Never reveal the person you ignore.

Also because I can't tell if you retards are joking around or not.
I don't think it's useless. Plenty of console warriors to put on ignore.I believe the ignore button is the equivalent of easy mode on a Soulsborne.
People should consider changing the name to "not on my gaf" or "safe space mode"
I never said useless, I said easy mode on a Soulsborne. Some people think it's a necessity. I think it defeats the purpose of discussions.I don't think it's useless. Plenty of console warriors to put on ignore.
He's definitely my favorite fanboy. We have argue plenty of times, but he never resorts to name calling or personal attacks. I'm all in favor for supporting his return. Hope he sees this.Damn @Bryank75 got banned???? He's my favorite Sony fanboy. What happened??? He's usually polite, reasonable and enjoyable to discuss games with even though we have very different tastes. At least it's only for a few days.
As an Xbot can I lobby for the return of a Sony pony??

I've been scrolling past posts and threads that I felt were either stupid or didn't interest me for well over a year. I've also reported users who I felt were breaking the rules, some of which were warned/banned by the staff. These are features designed to be used by the community to make your individual experience browsing the forums better, if you feel it is necessary - it is optional afterall. Sorry if that hurts anyone's ego.I've never once put anyone on ignore. I just don't engage or respond to people that have nothing of value to say or that bore me. I just roll past posts filled with stupid, I guess that's my own version of ignore![]()
Mmm, shitting up almost every thread with console wars bullshit. Hilarious.
News flash, the majority of this forum hates dipshits like you and the rest of the hardcore fanboys. And no I'm not talking about the PS side as that would be ridiculously unfair, I'm talking about them all.
People on GAF want to discuss gaming as a favorite hobby of theirs, they want to discuss the ups and downs of the upcoming console launches, but can't do so without some idiot coming in and derailing things. It's one thing to have a preference, it's another to be engulfed in this "us vs them" mentality and the urge to continually war and defend the honour of corporations that don't even know you exist.
People are simply beyond sick of it.
Not gonna lie, Bryank wasn’t that bad. Seemed like most of his banter was in good fun.
Not sure about his other content but the thinly-veiled ban-begging or calling for strict rules is annoying. Third time I'm seeing this kind of request.Actually Miku is one of the few people I do have on ignore as he's a aloof condescending knob. He should just put people on ignore Instead of threatening to flounce off the forum, or just not log in again.
I never looked at the bottom of the page. I thought it was in a thread. Thanks for answering my stupid question
Dude. When you get your console war stirring thread locked yet don't get it and try to further stir shit up in other threads, just because you feel you are entitled to it, then you deserve a ban.See, you are still failing to answer the question.
On Bo, agree to disagree. I believe this was discussed ad nauseam, though.Dude. When you get your console war stirring thread locked yet don't get it and try to further stir shit up in other threads, just because you feel you are entitled to it, then you deserve a ban.
How hard is this to understand?
About BryanK:
Always polite, even if he shows a lot of passion..
Good dude.
Care to be more specific? You seem to be the only one to agree with his ban so far.I don't know. After the MS Zenimax Buy-out One Note started wailing on PCMR for some bizarre reason with some fairly retarded commentary tbh. He and his ilk seem to possess some truly antiquated ideas about the state of PC Gaming that are so out of wack from everyday reality that it's kind of hard to take anything they say seriously because it seems fuelled by a desire to solely big up their own platform of choice to the detriment of reason.
I don't read this thread 10 times a day and so I just clicked "post reply". Tough titties. On Bo, agree to disagree. I believe this was discussed ad nauseam, though.
Man, people need to chill. They look so ridiculous
It was not what I meant, mods said to move on from it is all. It's a few days, he'll be back and in the end maybe it was for his best.I don't read this thread 10 times a day and so I just clicked "post reply". Tough titties.
And on Bo, if you think it's a good idea to ignore mod decisions and just do whatever you want, then you probably won't last long here.
But yeah, agree to disagree.
Care to be more specific? You seem to be the only one to agree with his ban so far.
No Bo or Bryank for a week or two? You know what? I'm perfectly OK with it.Damn @Bryank75 got banned???? He's my favorite Sony fanboy. What happened??? He's usually polite, reasonable and enjoyable to discuss games with even though we have very different tastes. At least it's only for a few days.

What you said is true, but do you actually believe this is ban worthy/the last straw?Console stans always overstep their bounds. Generally, with Bans, it's rarely one incident, versus an accumulation. I would imagine One-Note likely had been racking up some marks against his name and he tipped over the edge. It's a week ban, which is nothing in the grand scheme of things. He at least might learn from it, others in that list though....probably not.![]()

CivicScience survey: PlayStation owners spend more time playing games than their Xbox counterparts. Xbox households better off financially on average.

I'm fine with it.On Bo, agree to disagree. I believe this was discussed ad nauseam, though.
BryanK was unnecessarily indeed.

S semicool | Post | Sep 30, 2020 | Dec 30, 2020 | [+Multiple] You were warned next time it would be perm, doubling the last ban from 6 to 12 weeks. It will be the last one. At least say 9TF instead of saying '3TF diff' like a daring child trying to to 'say it, but not say it'. |
Is it possible to get what ever uptight asshole mod that changed my tag to change it back for making fun of spider man? If not can I just get the ban and get my year of gold refunded(pro rated of course)?
Thanks

Spider man is my Fav PS4 game

They are more than just Sony zealots, they are Naughty Dog zealots. I've seen Playstation fans who don't hesitate to criticize TLOU2 heavily. It's actually pretty funny to see the reactions when people express that Ghost of Tsushima is a much better game than TLOU2.^ This. 100% I must admit I'd been fairly oblivious to the level of fanaticism fuelling these people, but after I had the audacity to suggest that maybe TLOU2's storyline wasn't all that (which a lot of other people seem to agree with) all manner of Sony zealots loomed up to defend the honour of Neil Druckmann & Naughty Dog. It was a bit of an eye-opener as to just see how demented they are. and wholly Incapable of conceding it's a story poorly told in any capacity. Their entire world view on the qualities of games is seemingly dictated wholly by its relationship to a piece of Logo'd future landfill, and anything first-party apparently is not only beyond reproach but also represents the very pinnacle of all gaming can be as a medium across the board. The amount of 'GOTG' comments getting thrown down for what is ostensibly an on-rails, 3rd person actioner with some light stealth, puzzling and a Storyline that is one long ButWhy?.Gif at the end of the day makes me wonder whether they ever play anything beyond what Sony dole out to them.![]()
I avoid TLOU2 threads as much as possible for that exact reason. You simply can't have an opinion in those threads, unless it aligns with theirs. Reading them from afar is a completely different story on the other hand. They are more than just Sony zealots, they are Naughty Dog zealots. The most annoying part of TLOU2 stans is if you criticize the game for telling, not showing, they respond with something akin to "So you want the game to spell every single thing out to you? What are you, a baby?".

About TLOUS2 conversation. I've follow some of goalmoves around the game. Some members bait you saying that the 'game director don't need to write a game based on what fans want', with is totally true, but no such argument was used except by those who defend the game.I need info, what’s going on?
They can write their stories however they want stories and we decide if we like it or not and even criticize it and its their choice to listen to our criticism if they want. But I just don't like the idea fans telling the developers how they should tell their stories.Directors don't need to create what fans want, but thats don't mean they can write a bad script.

Oh yeah we can criticize it all we want, it our right as a consumer. Before TLOU2 coming out I said "I will judge the story myself" and I honestly also didn't like how they did their story and in fact I would say ND could take note from 13 Sentinels in how tell stories with multiple protagonist but at end of the day its their choice if they want to listen to my criticism or not.Agree, they can make whatever they want, but thats not mean they're immune to criticism. Just don't fall into that premisse. When we talk 'we' is about the people who play, not the reviewers.
I don't like the ideia of fans telling the devs what to do as well, but unless they're open to talk, we can't confirm if what they're writing already take fans into consideration.
IMO they shielded themselves under the "inclusive" umbrella. So most conversation boils down to: "if you don't like it you are _____phobic"/"If you don't like we don't need you as a fan"/"You just didn't get it. It's too over your little brain".About TLOUS2 conversation. I've follow some of goalmoves around the game. Such argument was used as well by the creators of the recent Wolfenstein: Youngblood. Refusing to take critics about the game, they went so far at the point of saying that gamers were tired of killing Nazis.
Bitbydeath wrote a lie based on his imagination (he said xbox cant stream 8K textures), yet Bodomism responding to him kindly was banned for console warring.
I hated the complaints "it's too political" or a woman can't have muscles in the future. There are a plethora of issues to pick from but, at least ND tried to avoid a paint by numbers sequel. The main specific complaint I heard was bigot sandwich, one line in a 30hr+ game.IMO they shielded themselves under the "inclusive" umbrella.
