I do need to go on him to ask guildies to invite my other characters into the guild.
Guildies ignore me though :\
McNei1y said:I could get you in right now if you're free.
G-Fex said:Thanks you're swell McNei1y
Same. Will be back soon, school has picked up again, have another research paper to do and then finals. But I'll be in and out.Kintaro said:Took a few days off for Skyrim and TOR beta weekend. Will be back refreshed and ready to trudge through Northrend. =x
G-Fex said:forgot how fun DK's can be, it's been a love/hate relationship with some of their stuff but now it's back to pure love <3
CarbonatedFalcon said:It's been so long since I leveled mine. I may have to reroll one to see how they play leveling up now. I mean, I was leveling when you still had the talent that let you rez as a ghoul for 30ish seconds after dying.
G-Fex said:they took that away? :O
Yeah, going blood, the most survival of surviving talents. Self healing ftw
keeblerdrow said:No, it's Unholy for leveling. Frost for dps and PvP at 85. Unholy is great in PvP at 85. Blood is tanking only. And its damage is terribad. Leveling as blood would be the slowest and most agonizing of the three specs by far. Sure you never die, but neither to your enemies. It's like leveling as a Holy Paladin.
edit: Blood is good in leveling as a 2nd spec to whip out when you want to kill something that hits like a truck. It'll wear out any elite you come across that Unholy or Frost simply won't stand up to.
Also, use a 2hander for Unholy and Blood. Dual wield 1handers for Frost.
G-Fex said:seriously? Unholy for leveling? Hmmm...
I bought dual spec so I'll put the second spec Unholy
Thanks pal!
Azwethinkweiz said:Frost 2h is the leveling spec. You do good damage, get bonus to mounted speed, plus every couple minutes you can lichborne + death coil to heal yourself up.
Andiie said:I just hit Northrend today, went at 68. So far I've found it rather painful given I'm still sporting mostly Hellfire/Zanga gear... Being a tank helps a little but damn if I'm not in desperate need of new gear.
I think my heal set only has 7k mana and that's buffed. Shouldn't it be nearer to 10k by now? lol
What was everyone's experience like when stepping into the first couple of instances coming straight out of Outlands?
I wanna run UK but I'll probably need to wait a little.
Btw, 2h Frost is awesome. The only DK I've played to 70 is that spec and I loved it. Seems very capable of pumping out a lot of damage in a short time. I couldn't get into the other specs.
keeblerdrow said:Yeah, 2H frost is completely viable for leveling as well. Forgot about that. I've always liked Unholy for leveling because of the permanent pet. It's a good damage source and a good health refill in a tight spot.
Bisnic said:If you're trying to tank, check the AH for the cobalt tanking set. It's pretty good for you to start tanking once you hit lvl 70, and its not very expensive. You can keep questing between lvl 68-70 to find some decent weapon, necklace, rings and cloak with lots of stamina until you get blue tanking items from dungeons. But some blue tanking items like cloak wont drop until Violet Hold(75). =/ I had the blue dps cloak from a Nexus quest for 5 lvls lol.

For those that don't know, the world event Pilgrim's Bounty starts the 20th. It lasts a week and is by far the easiest way to level your cooking to 300. Unless you couple it with fishing, cooking is really difficult to level IMO so take this opportunity to level it if you care to.
Did we hit level 3 yet? I've been wanting to do some dungeons runs but haven't been on with a third 70.
I'll probably end up waiting for 4.3 to level anyway as they're supposed to be reducing the Northrend xp then.
I've never used the random dungeon finder at level 68-69 before. It's great.......Durnholde and Sethekk Halls over and over again.
You know, I this feeling while playing Skyrim last night. "Stop. Something else is coming."
Come home from work today and BAM. Patch 4.3 is dropping with shorter xp between 71-80. Looking forward to it. =D
Me too. The xp drop is the best thing about it imo. Also I love that they're dropping the quest npcs inside the dungeons now. Save us from missing out on doing them.
