As a general rule of thumb, I found it costs about 1.5x the cost of candy to do the shipping. So a good $20 package costs around $30 to ship.The_Technomancer said:However, count me as tentative until I investigate shipping rates in the US. I can't afford $80 shipping or such.

The first time was great. LazyLoki was a great trade partner!plasticpassion said:I was all in, til I read this. It makes me a little nervous; did that happen often in previous experiences?
Yeah, I thought this thread would be poppin' for days. It's sort of simmered.luiztfc said:C'mon guys, where's the swapping spirit?
There was a special law that ended the strike if I remember correctly. I started to receive mail again so it must be overili0926 said:Is Canada Post still on strike and if so, does that rule out Canadians from participating?

Regarding people who don't send or packages missing/opened/hijacked in customs, that rarely happens and we keep in mind those members who did not send anything. I also got hit by one of those on a double swap. The guy apparently never logged in or something, so who knows what happened.
We have a nice bunch of swappers already but there's still a lot of time to make this bigger.
Fuck the recession, candy is where it's at. DO IT!
By the way, when I messed up the first thread title and a mod was nice enough to take care of it, I also encouraged him to sign up but apparently no mods or admins ever want to be a part of this.
Come on, reds. You know you want to![]()

Okay, no. That is leading me to believe that there really is a drug laced in that. I'm thinking I should put addictive substances in dislikes. Maybe even in allergies.hawkshockey11 said:Wow, I really want to do this but I dont have enough cash.
If you are trading from Canada I have a suggestion:
clodhoppers.
I used to get them when the border was more open and the US dollar was stronger.
So good.
