I find with PS2 controllers you will have issues with second-hand. I have 2 controllers (though given the prices I bought them for I think they were sold as broken) and the problems I get with both of them are the shoulder buttons not working due to the plastic circuit parts becoming dislodged (they came sold like this) as well as and random face buttons failing to work (I think again to do with the plastic circuit material). Thankfully both the analogue sticks seem to work fine.OMG Aero said:Too bad it came with the worst control pad ever.
There is no cover thing on the right analog stick and if you such much as tap it it automatically pulls all the way to the right so I'm gonna take it back tomorrow and see if I can get it replaced.
The best thing to do is get one that is at least in acceptable condition and live with the fact you'll have to take it apart with a screwdriver every now and again.
