I just played my first ranked match online and won 3-2 woo! It was a tough game. I took the Hawks of course...my opponent took Team Canada. x__x It was tough trying to keep up with that team but somehow I battled them to a draw into the 3rd. I was actually up 2 to 1 when I gave up a shorthanded goal with 7 min left. :( I was on the attack and Team Canada got hit with a penalty with 49 seconds left. I won the face off, passed it around a bit, got it to Toews. I made a nice cut to the center and hit a snapshot at Luoooooooolngo. It bounced off his chest and Big Buff was there for the rebound put in with 29 seconds left to secure the win! :D

I'm getting Red Dead from Amazon tomorrow but I'll be up for some games if people are online!

My shower is apparently flooding my downstairs neighbor. So my landlord is putting us up in a hotel for a few days. Sounds awesome. Except that Alan Wake and Red Dead are on my doorstep tomorrow. What a lame sauce bummer. To top it off, Meg is having friends over this week, so once we're back from hotel-living, our living room is going to be dominated by ladies until next freaking Monday.

And since I don't live in a porno, it's just going to be boring.

Gah.

Edit: And fuck you guys, I'm getting Red Dead on PS3. Fuck. Me.

I have a friend who is getting it on PS3, but other than that--I really don't know anyone on PSN.

Ya, I'm pretty sure this game will be all hype and no bite. Although, if it had, "Hey cousin, let's go to the teeeeteeee bar!" then I'd be stoked.

Edit: And I played the HELL out of GTAIV. Didn't touch any of the DLC, but I liked the game a lot--especially driving a car through the plate glass windows of the motorcycle shop, stealing an R1 or whatever those bikes were, and then just tearing around, shooting people and pissing off cops.

I would love to do this if a) I wasn't in a hotel b) my 360 was reliable c) I got Red Dead on 360.

I just know this game is going to turn out awesome on xbox. All because I didn't get it on that console.

is that some hockey lingo. its ok i learn it! I dont know all the specifics about soccer but im pretty good at fifa whenever i play. with practice ill be fine

EA is finally pimping stadium specific authentic audio into Madden, what chances will we be able to hear Chelsea Dagger blasting after every Hawks score?

Madden is their big time franchise (alongside Fifa) so they can probably justify the extra expense, but I'd love to see this happen in NHL too.

So there was a preview showing of NHL 11 over the last 2 days for a few people. EA also confirmed the entire CHL is going to be in the game too.
