I really need a To Do app that can sync with both Gmail Tasks and Exchange (Outlook). Does that exist?

Basically one for work (Exchange) and one for personal use (gmail). Reminders does sync up with Outlook tasks OTA, but I don't really like it because it requires several steps to set reminder times, there's little priority support and ordering is dumb. And of course, it doesn't sync with Gmail tasks.

If there's nothing out there that does both, than so be it, but I'm hoping there is. I also want full reminder support. I bought Clear and it's really nice, but far too basic right now. I am keeping it installed in the hopes of updates improving it though.

I have lots of items in Wunderlist. To move them across would take ages.

Reminders has potential, but no ability to prioritise or even re-order tasks is a deal breaker IMO

Fair enough.

I don't really have too many things on my to do list so moving took a minute or so.

It seems like this is the latest thread to ask this I guess. Are there any free apps I can read Naruto Shippuden comics on the iPad? I got Manga Storm, believe it or not the only 2 Animes not on it are Bleach and Naruto, it has everything else though.

I use Crunchyrole for the Videos episodes.

I'm really liking Flipboard on my iPhone. The iPad version makes me drool, as well.

Went through the list on the OP, and it's a bit sparse. I've been looking for new apps, and I don't even know what for. :p

I guess I just don't use ToDo apps. I haven't opened Clear since the day after I got it.

Just want to put in a recommendation for memento. It's kinda like a journal summarizer. It takes all of your twitter, facebook, foursquare, flickr, or whatever feed that you use and lumps it into a journal format. Great for people who are too lazy to write a journal.

Will drop pants for Sony.

I think Viz has their own app for naruto, Bleach and One Piece manga

Think about it. There are scripts that allow you do dl all the chapters from manga host sites.

And ios can view images....

Connect the dots?

Wish I didn't fall for the hype on Clear. The gestures and sounds are nice but the rest of the app is shitty.

Aside from the lacking features such as syncing and reminders/alerts etc, it fails on the most basic functionality - you can't enter a to-do item longer than five words. Instead of going to a second line (or truncating a list item until you click on it), it just stops you from typing text. What a massive disappointment.

You can get around the character limits by using Siri to dictate the to-do item.

Ah sorry, I meant for driving. A mileage log for work/tax purposes

I was half-joking, but it would work in a pinch. I've used it to take biking logs, for instance.

And Dirk Nowitzki's voice will cheer you on from time to time.

If you have a 4S (or jailbroken phone I suppose), which I do not. And if I had to use Siri dictation to get around a stupid limitation, I'd probably just use Reminders over Clear anyway.

With the current character/word limit, the only thing Clear seems useful for is grocery lists.

Also, god damn. So many todo/task/reminder apps out there, all of which have at least one really big negative point.

Reminders, Wunderlist, Due, Clear, 2do... argh

Using Mountain Lion and I found that you can sort reminders within lists, but I have yet to use it across iOS so I wonder if it transfers that sorting order to all devices with Reminders.

Yeah, maybe I just lack imagination but I can't think of anything a standalone Readability client could offer me over Instapaper.

They're basically the same except one won't cost you $5. I think that's good enough for me, especially since the Readability UI looks great.

Is there a free app similar to "slide to do" on the app store? Anything that'll keep a simple to do list in your notifications until you finish them.

Just wanna make sure there aren't better or free apps before I buy.

Nice. I like that UI.

How's the SkyFire browser? Atomic isn't doing it for me.

I find Skyfire to be kind of terrible. Being able to watch Flash videos is nice, but as a browser overall, it's lacking and has a terrible interface.

I really like iCab browser. Lots of features and relatively stable.

Same.

How so? Instapaper is already perfect for my needs, what does Readability do to kill it?

It kills it by making new users less likely to buy it. Instapaper's income stream comes from new users
and podcast sponsors like MailChimp and HelpSpot
; they may be less likely to pay $4.99 for the app and $11.99/year for searching their archive when Readability offers the app for free and search for free.

Instapaper really feels old right now. Not being limited to Verdana, Georgia, or Helvetica anymore feels like receiving a cold beer in hell. And these are some really nice (and expensive) fonts from Hoefler & Frere-Jones too. Readability still has some things to add, like an adjustable brightness slider and a draggable scrollbar, though the latter really should be an OS level feature.

Gestures everywhere are wonderful though. Swipe left to right to go back to your reading list. Swipe down when at the top of an article to go to the next article.

Readability's minimal online reading list is also really nice. I'm surprised these guys didn't charge at least 99c for the app
