CloudOn looks like crap on the new iPad.
Not sure how trustworthy it is and how long it'll be on the store. Wasn't there something similar to this before that got banned?
Works just fine.
Been using it hardcore for the last few days and it's officially met my needs for Microsoft office. I can (and do) work on existing documents in my Dropbox, create new documents that automatically save to my Dropbox, have access to the large variety of fonts that you expect with Office.
And it's fully licensed, so there are no concerns of banning or that such.
Yes, parts of the UI look fuzzy, but Office has not been scaled to Retina resolutions such that the buttons would look sharp at 2048x1536 (or whatever the resolution is). and some buttons needed to be much bigger for touch. They made that all happen without compromising the functionality or feature set people expect in Word/PowerPoint/Excel...
...all for free...
...and you're complaining? You're silly.

App has been followed and its popularity noted for some time.
Again, I can't recommend CloudOn enough for people who want/need *real* Office compatibility, consistency and productivity. It does what it says it does and it's free. Until Microsoft releases an iPad version of Office, this is pretty much the best thing available. No irritiating limitations like having 5 fonts available...no concerns that something isn't going to look the same when you open it on your desktop...and no worries on how to get it off your iPad, since it saves right to Dropbox. Oh, and no space taken up on your HDD since it's basically just a VNC client (but better than Splashtop for this use).
At this point, it's just silly not to have CloudOn. If you have a BT keyboard and a need for real MS Office.
