What protocal does it work with. I assume it is microsoft remote desktop (RDP)? I didn't know their was an implementation for OSX.

Whats the best (free) program to convert videos from AVI to MP4?
I was able to get VLC Player when it out on the App Store but my girlfriend was not. I know its available on Cydia now but gonna wait for the untethered jailbreak for that.

As for games, I'd agree with that to be honest, if no one has any objections! It is the 'Best of iOS' after all.
I'm going to do my absolute best to be ruthless and keep it to only the very best games. So many awesome ones out there, this list could easily spiral out of control!
Gaaraz said:Okay then, to get the ball rolling I'd suggest...
Best puzzle: Dungeon Rais
Best racer: Real Racing 2
Best football: FIFA 12
Best RPG: Battleheart
Best Tower Defence: Plants vs Zombies
Best Runner: Temple Run

I'd also recommend VidCoder if you're using Windows. It uses the same transcoder as Handbrake, except the UI is actually decent, and it also supports batch encoding which (AFAIK) Handbrake can't do.VisitableElf said:Thank you!

I have only used Dropbox, but I signed up for box.net so I could get the storage, which is 25x what Dropbox normally gives you as a special promotion.Gaaraz said:Which of those two would you recommend I put into the OP eggo? I'm guessing dropbox = better support, but box.net = more storage?

Thanks.

Ambiance and White Noise are the best white noise apps.Kunohara said:Anyone know any good white noise apps and a good alarm clock app? Just got my phone today, and I can finally have some white noise when I sleep (suffer from Tinnius).

Well, if you are on your own wifi you can stream video from your iTunes library now. That feature I like. But of course, they need to be in a compatible format first, where air video will convert on the fly.Dreams-Visions said:How does the OP lack AirVideo? and StreamToMe?

As for the best alarm clock app, it's Alarm Clock Pro, hands down.
Try Grazing Browser.Gaaraz said:I've been testing browsers to get an idea of what to put into the OP, would welcome feedback on this since they all vary:
Atomic - feature packed, but ugly interface
iCab - much nicer interface, poor and limited gestures
Sleipnir - incredible interface with annoying limitations
Safari - fully integrated and the default web broader, limited but has Reader
Honestly I think Sleipnir may just be the best iPhone browser out there. Hold a link to open it in the background, swipe left/right to switch between tabs, an 'L' gesture to close a tab, and go back/forward through a fairly intuitive full screen menu that only appears when you want it too. But no reader equivalent, no integration etc makes it tough to recommend.

I'm currently using Atomic and its passable (loathe the icon though).
Just installed the iPad app. The interface is an incredible improvement over anything Spotify offers. Much better for discovery and sharing. Cancelled my Spotify account already.layzie1989 said:i love rdio. I would recommend it a million times.

Has anyone tried Rdio or Mog?
Mog seems really good about supporting devices (Airplay on their desktop app and an iPad app soon).
Do you use it on the iPhone or iPad? I'd be interested to hear some iPad users' experience with the app.Rekwest said:I love the JUSTINTV App,
