Stan Lee's Comikaze Expo was this past weekend in Los Angeles. The con's grown quite well over the course of a year, and definitely recommend it as a bargain priced intro to larger events like San Diego Comic-Con. Here's what I saw:

This is actually very common among anime cossplayers. I know quite a few female cossplayers who do way more crossplays than cossplays.
Not a big fan of panels since that's taking time I could use towards taking costume photos, but I had to go to the Nickelodeon reunion stuff. They're my other favorite thing at Comikaze. I hoped a Zeke the Plumber cosplayer might show up, as I've seen pics of one before, but guess no one was that hardcore.

Not sure where else to ask this, and i hope no one gets upset BUT:
My son wants to be deadpool for halloween (he's six, and that's awesome). Sadly, i can't find a pattern for a costume in his size and i'm awful at making my own patterns. I'm hoping one of the wonderful cosplayers on neogaf could help me out. I'd definitely pay for someone to make a costume for him.
