Netflix |OT| Where Binge Watching is Encouraged

So Drinking Buddies is decent. Very light on the humor more of a comedy/drama about relationships. Not great but I was okay with it. Also gives you a chance to fall in love with Olivia Wilde and/or Anna Kendrick every five minutes.

Also, nude Wilde will always add to a movie's value.

ok, im seeing this

Also started The Clone Wars in the past days as it gets so much praise. And it's well deserved so far. I even liked most of S1 while that is supposed to be the worst.

Cool little story-arcs, great action! At ep4 of S2 now so a lot more to come.

I rather have no auto play then the annoying as fuck autoplay which skips the credits/next episode preview/opening of the next episode. I like having that time to do whatever. It's pretty much the only thing Hulu does better than Netflix.

This! I hated not being able to hear the end credits play out for Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The Most Dangerous Yes Man
Netflix Roulette.

Randomly selects a movie for you. You are able to filter things in and out. Probably like a Max lite.
So far this thing isn't helping as much as I thought it would. It's making me ask more questions than answers.

Why is there a Japanese remake of Ghost?

Johnny Mnemonic added too. Never saw it but it looks like a good, corny, 90s popcorn action type movie.

Just watched Let the Right One In.
Amazing movie but the extreme overhype made it a bit disappointing.

I just happened to watch that movie randomly a couple years ago. I hadn't heard of it so no expextations goung in. Was shocked how good it was and now it is my favorite vampire movie.

But yeah expectations can always change how you enjoy a movie.

Yup, movie was still amazing but I went in after hearing like half of GAF calling it the best vampire movie ever.
didn't hurt the movie just got me expecting more.

It probably is the best vampire movie though. Can't think of any better.

Saw machete kills, pretty great if you're into that kind of stuff. Nice mix of over the top, cheesy, shit effects, and fun cameos.

Netflix left out the subtitles for the German and Japanese speaking parts in 1941. Shame because some of them were funny.

Winged Migration was pretty awesome, would recommend to anyone that likes nature stuff. Its basically a hour and half of shots of birds in flight and in their natural habitat so if you're expecting facts and commentary you may want to skip this one, but that would also be a mistake, so dont.

The Lost Boys, Stakeland? Great little film although the translation on the DVD I have is really poor. They've since fixed it but I haven't rewatched with the better translation.
I preferred 'Let the right one in' to either of those, the Lost Boys is a fun 80s movie, and Stakeland is definitely a solid movie although it's vampires are more zombie than the traditional vampires I guess I prefer. I remember near dark being a good vampire movie but it has been a long time since I saw it.

For PS4 owners...looks like they finally fixed the 5.1 ? Also someone mentioned HDMI-CEC working in the app now.

Friendly heads-up, just saw my PS4 download an update for the Netflix app, and 5.1 sound now works properly and shows up as an option under 'Audio & Subtitles'! :)

Wish there was a way to customize exactly what categories / genres netflix displays as atm it seems pretty random which makes it a pain in the ass to go through whats been recently added, a category which isnt always available for viewing for some reason.

Imo by default it should show My List, Recently Watched, Recently Added and New Releases categories but as it is my list is entirely populated by "Because you watched this, that and the other". Also I wonder why theres categories for Recently added and New releases since I would have thought these were more or less the same thing so why not merge the 2 to make things a bit more simple.
