You might want to:
1) Make sure that you have enough available disk space for patching.
2) Make sure that none of the files are already in use (i.e. you don't already have the game launching in the background)
3) Run the launcher as administrator
Update 13: We're going to take the servers down to address a few issues in around 15 minutes. Maintenance thread here.
Update 14: Maintenance completed. We'll continue to monitor this thread.
Update 15: We apologize that some players have had to wait in a queue to access Neverwinter. Our goal is to minimize the wait time as soon as possible. To accomplish this, we will be performing updates to the servers and network overnight. Please keep an eye on this page for updates - we plan to have updated information regarding our progress around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, May 1, Pacific Time.
8 A.M. and there is a 6k queue haha, obviously the queue is fucked up...hey its still a beta.

Or it's just like Aion or a few other MMO launches. People would macro stuff to stay logged in so they would not have to deal with the queue the next day, or use other ingame features to accomplish the same.
5am est
- Client is downloaded, takes about 10 attempts to log in...until I realize you have to use your - e-mail and not the username you chose (even though it says either on the client)
- another patch
- watch video pretty cool), make a cleric and and 7k in queue
- go back to getting the kids ready for school and my stuff for work
- sneak down to see if I can login and am now 93k in queue
Operation play before work...failure
How in the hell do I spend 45 minutes waiting in queue, starting at over 9000, getting to around 6000, then all of a sudden I'm at over 11,000?
There was never a first one.Not a very big range of classes? I remember playing the first one years and years ago and there was a much bigger selection. The wizard sounds bleh even though that's usually my favorite class.

My client can't connect to the login server. Is it down?
Clerics seem super broken. Does more damage than any other class so far except the Trickster and just can't die.

pvp is kind of broken for healers
score is used to calculate the glory reward. but healing does not award score points.
needs to get fixed asap ..
Late bloomer. I've got one up to 14 and it seems rather lackluster at early levels compared to every other class. Apparently it does come into its own later, and becomes a beast 35+.Any opinions on GWF?

Well there was an online RPG called Neverwinter that came out forever ago...

I would play, but my launcher is just a blank white window.
Did you start getting the stutter after switching the screen? like fullscreen to windowed or windowed to fullscreen? Because when i first booted up the game it booted in windowed full and ran smooth as a babies ass but when i switched to fullscreen i had some pretty bad stutter at 60fps. I exited the game and restarted with vertical sync forced and its been perfectly fine since.Played about fifteen minutes early this morning, seems alright. I might delete this GWF char and make something else though, not really liking that class. Anyone get massive stutter? The framerate is smooth, but it jerks around alot.
Cryptic does go over the top with essentials, rather than trying to price them slightly cheaper so that people won't feel like they're being blackmailed.
What's preferable, 1 person buying a 10$ bag?
Or 100 people buying a $2 bag?
It's kinda ridiculous that for the price of some of these MTC-items, you can buy whole games on a steam sale.
