Below are first the original color scheme and then my color-corrected more bluish version.
I simply can't get over how much more I prefer the more bluish version. People may not care but the visual design is my only real point of worry about this game now.
With all due respect the "colour correct" version looks like utter balls and for once, a colour filter actually suits Deus Ex: Human Revolution.
Like it or loathe it, Deus Ex: HR has a distinct art style, and your efforts to "correct" it make the game would make the game lose a heck of a lot of the character I have observed of it thus far.
Anywya, that preview has got me pretty excited. I am a bit of a Deus Ex fanboy, and frankly, if Eidos can capture just half of what made Deus Ex so great, I'll be a happy bunny. Yes, it isn't gospel, just in the mire of this COD influenced generation, the lessons that the game taught have never been further from developers minds.
I have an open mind for this game, and I wont dismiss it completely for not "being Deus Ex" but so far, it appears that lessons have been learned, especially since the initial reveal and that we're in for an actual gaming treat here. All we need is a (new) release date. Something something something September?
