I have a PS4 already, but I might shell out 200 dollars to buy a PS3 for this game. I have fond memories of GT, even GT5, which was apparently fixed and improved immensely through patches long after I'd sold my original PS3.

Haha, well, I agree, it will again be total incompetence in reviewing.
I don't know ATM, I expect how game is being mastered at this point and packaged, I think gold was rolling 2 weeks ago and that people at Japan (TAS) and Germany (SCEE offices) are playing the gold-code.
I expect review-codes at the end of this week or in Monday, but I think there will be no true embargo - because as I know, noone yet have a true BluRay in hands.
Will keep you informed, but I would expect that some discs show up during this week jumping from the factories into the private hands.

It will almost certainly not be Polyphony taking questions, but US regional producers.
Since SCEA is in charge, Taku Imasaki will probably be there somewhere, as well as other SCEA GT managers.
Polyphony does not have a "right" to do a PR outside Kazunori's own press-related appearances. All PR regarding GT series is done strictly by SCE PR offices worldwide.
PD is developer, SCE is publisher and in case of GT series, the publisher is always in charge of the PR.

I wouldnt buy G27 today unless we find out it supports PS4....

Nope, I've pre-ordered in store as well and I clarified with the store personnel that I wanted to make sure my pre-order was marked with the Anniversary Edition.
In fact there was a giant advert in store about the 15th Anniversary Edition. I even asked if there was multiple SKU's for GT6 too.
As far as I'm aware outside of the DLC included and the special outersleeve on the game case, the game will be the same (I guess the 15th Ani Edition is just a limited print run of the first batch of GT6
I just hope this wasn't Gamestop "telling me what I want to hear" just to get my pre-order anyways. I have no qualms in canceling and order online if that is indeed the case.
Pretty sure there is an unspoken rule you can't take titles from old OT's.

I went from that to a G25 and the biggest difference is in the pedals. The wheels are pretty similar IMHO so it comes down to how much you care about your feet and the H shifter.

All preorders that specifically requested the anniversary edition before the cutoff date (I have no idea when that was) will get what they requested.
The gamespot website in the US is the only source still offering these as far as I know. I bit the bullet and ordered international through there. 20$ international charge for 2 copies.
