Glad Gin got punched for being a shitty father and it's nice to know that Leorio is actually learning Nen techniques. I wonder how that'd be useful for doctor work though :p. Sucks that Kurapika isn't bothered enough to come visit though.

How did we know about Leorio being an emitter? I thought they said he might be the same type as Gon because he's really hard headed and stubborn.

There was a graph in one of the earlier episodes a long while back, showing the nen categories of a bunch of main characters, including Leorio.

Farking amazing episode. I'm so happy that ending happened.

The episode was amazing, but the minute Leorio made his appearance, the episode just elevated to another level entirely. I fucking love Leorio. That ending, that Kurapika, goddamn. I don't want this show to end.

I assume he'd be able to perform surgery on you without having to actually open you up if he can look through the holes.

Not as deep as he thinks
They really did Leorio's big part justice in the anime. Probably one of my favorite moments out of this arc. It's just so fucking epic and the music that played during it was so fitting.

By the way, anyone having trouble streaming the episodes on the Crunchyroll app on PS4? I have never had any buffering issues, but it's been happening to me lately every time I want to watch a new episode. It's only on the new episodes, because all the old ones play fine without any issues.

Great episode!

Wonder why Ging let him punch him.
The way he thinks, he must have been doing it for Gon.
There's no way he couldn't have dodged it.

I mean, if you didn't know about Leorio, they even STRONGLY hint at it when Hisoka fights Gon with Hisoka's nen classification (Emitters have short tempers, Specialists are independent, etc etc). They also make it obvious during the one ending that everyone keeps mentioning.

Man Leorio is such a lousy man, he can't speak without screaming or making a fight of everything (still glad he punched Ging in da face) :/

And yeah Kurapika's back and with style! Does he have permanent red eyes now?

Also that sly Pariston, trying to undermine Ging's public image even with a joke.

He just seems caught up in the moment. Gon is in super critical condition, and additionally Ging doesn't care enough to go see him.

Can probably use it to operate inside someone without having to cut them open, kind of like Law in One Piece who is also a doctor. Though us anime watchers don't know the full extent of his abilities. Maybe it's only useful for sucker punching people.

It's nice that Leorio has shown he's not being left behind by Killua and Gon, although they are monsters so it still applies to a slight degree. But the show has shown that brute force and Nen power isn't the only way to win so it's okay.

eh, this thread has always spoiler tagged recent episodes. Not everyone watches immediately after it's posted on Crunchyroll. I don't mind giving it a day or so before going crazy.

The show tries to make ging really likeable, to a fair amount of success.

But he's still a fucking scumbag of a father.

I'm not so sure they are actually trying to make him likable. I mean, he's still a person who seems to have the best intentions for the other Hunters and the world as a whole, but he's a shit father and there's no disguising that. His bullshit of, "Did he say he wanted to see me?" keeping up that nonsense of Gon eventually finding him defines his character pretty well, so you either agree with that honor system or you concede that he's generally unlikable.

Sidenote: I'm glad they finally landed somewhere on Alluka's gender. Jesus, it seemed like every character used a different gender pronoun when talking about her.

yo thank god we didnt get to see how she ripped her fingernail off, that shit is giving me flashbacks to god of war 3

leo best character in anything confirmed

I'm not saying he cares for Gon as a father, but as a Hunter, he may just want his son to use his skills as a master Hunter to find him.
The whole show started with Gon wanting to be a Hunter while FINDING (hunting) his father.

Would seem anticlimactic for Ging to act like a father, all of a sudden just to be by Gon's side.

I wonder if he would have bothered to show up to the council meetings and election if Gon was running around healthy.

But Ging took the punch because he knows he deserves it.
