Not like we will be getting a new anime any time soon. Though Togashi seems to be in better health, he's doing a series of interviews with Kishimoto that are pretty interesting. I believe there were rumors of him taking shorter breaks of like 6 months then pumping out a volume's worth of material then break. Or his wife just starts drawing it for him.

Sailor Gon, Sailor Killua, Sailor Hisoka! Also the interview was translated and posted in the HxH OT yesterday. Its a couple pages and an interesting read. Togashi's idea for the Lost TV show sounds better than the actual TV show we got.

Except for Meruem, the moment u put ranking, means that u don't really understand HxH here.
in HxH, there is no tier thing. As long as a person is smart/intelligence and versatile enough, even those with the lowest offensive capability can take down the strongest foes.
Remember, the Kurapikt vows vs Spider? By limiting oneself, one can make himself into a total nightmare towards the specific foes he is targeting. So, unless u are Meruem who is simply on the pinnacle of both power and Nen, i don't think the tier is relevant.

Yup.Killua biggest weakness is he always consider the person to be on the peak of his condition when many times had shown, people can be sometimes on slump.
And also, i love seeing people putting Gon-san being able to beat Meruem when all his sacrifice there is only able to beat Pitou. I mean, how much more must Gon sacrifice for him to be able to take down King here? When the cost of that vows is more or less wrecking him so badly that unless Deus Ex Alluka show up, he is going to be vegetable for the rest of his life lol.

Nen in its system is simply OP lol. U can be a total specialized Nen user like Kurapikt where he will be totally monster vs a single group of people by sacrificing all his potential against other normal people.^^
Def more hype, York Shin is still my favorite arc (of all time) though.

A common aspect of HxH is that characters that prepare themselves usually win handily over their opponent. Kurapica just prepared himself to specifically deal with the spiders.
And dealing with the spiders he is.

I believe Pitou stated
Gon's fangs have reached the King. I fully believe he could have gone toe to toe with the King had he transformed and fought him instead. The dude absolutely massacres Pitou without even breaking a sweat. I don't know if he could have beaten the King but Gons was monstrously strong for that short amount of time.

Mereum was judged only B rank difficulty by Netero and the five calamities brought back from the Dark Continent are each B+ difficulty. Also the mission to eradicate the Chimera Ants was ranked B difficulty and the mission to explore the Dark Continent is ranked A.

Those manga spoilers sounds an awful lot like YYH.
"Could" not have. Gon sure had tons of potential there. But it sure is not a guarantee that in his Gon-san form, he will be able to beat pre-nuke Meruem who funnily also is just born and had almost zero skill on Nen except basic.
The rank B difficulty is totally different case though. As when they decided for that level, they don't know how powerful King is and of course his loyal Royal Guard + the human Chimera Ants cocoon. The moment all those info is known by them, the stake had gone higher for sure.
Dark Continent ranked A is not surprising as it is a totally different beast where power is not everything now as the one u face can be disaster like earthquake, tsunami or Typhoon or even epidemic virus/disease which Nen will do jackshit facing those things.T_T
Don't know here. I still feel King is on another level. I would said, Gon-San would fare better vs King rather than Netero though.^_^
